I love bronco folks. They are some of the greatest people to share a common interests with...usually, most are as interested in our vehicles as I am. BUT, there is one thing I see here often that drives me crazy (it's a short trip too!)...people calling the bronco a "car". Let's discuss this ever impeding cataclysmic burning question!

My Bronco, car, truck, SUV, station wagon, or whatever belongs to my credit union until I finish making payments. Then I'll just call it "paid for." šŸ˜œ
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. Itā€™s fun.

Maybe this is why so many are intent to name their rigs, outfits, trucks, SUVā€™s, transport, Broncos, trucks, etcā€¦

I just call mine OB1 and everyone in my life knows what Iā€™m talking aboutā€¦

When at a gas station and someone tells me nice jeep...I hit the ignore button. Happens all the time with my 67 and 21. But then I have to educate them. šŸ˜

I remember being quite young, poor and didnā€™t know it, and thrilled to go on a road trip with the family (there were nine of us) stuffed into a ā€˜63 Chevy Station Wagonā€¦. I saw Montana from ā€œthe way backā€

I sometimes have to laugh at all of us over the things that catch our fancy todayā€¦

You folks are AMAZING, and this place is my GOTO to start my day!

I parked my Bronco on the street the other day and a woman walking towards me told a friend ā€œIā€™m parked right in front of that Jeep. (Needless to say, there wasnā€™t a Jeep anywhere in sight.) even with four BIG, honking mud flaps with ā€œBRONCOā€ spelled out across them, and a bucking BRONCO emblem on the tailgate, this dope called my Bronco a Jeep. Good grief! šŸ˜–

I had a boat once and my friend called it a cute little boat. I won't tell you the rest of the story. It got expensive. It was actually too small for our needs. Nobody wants to hear...cute little boat.

It happens a lot too. It is irksome but I just take the compliment and move on, not going to waste time arguing.

Most people can't tell the difference from the side or especially from the rear.

agreed, please realize I started this in fun. But I still dont think its a "car".
