Off-road capabilities: With its robust 4x4 system, solid axles, and electronic locking differentials, the Bronco is built for serious off-road adventures.

Advanced technology: The Bronco boasts advanced features such as the available 12-inch touchscreen display, 360-degree camera system, and trail-mapping software to enhance the driving experience.

Customization options: The 4-door Bronco offers a wide range of customizable features, including various roof configurations, door options, and exterior styling packages, allowing buyers to create a unique vehicle that fits their specific needs and preferences.

Iconic design: The Bronco's classic design, with its bold grille and boxy shape, pays homage to the original 1960s Bronco and makes it instantly recognizable on the road.

8 door airport limo comes to mind
I’m glad you saw where I was going with this. I’d be perfectly happy with having only 2-door Broncos on the road, but since you and I don’t make these decisions, all we can do is get the one that’s right for us and let others do the same. I personally think the Bronco looks best as a 2-door, but a 4-door (and a 6- or 8-door limo or 4-door with pickup truck bed) was inevitable. While some may consider a 4-door Bronco an abomination, it’s apparent that there’s a demand. Enough to justify its existence. The same is true for its cousin, the Bronco Sport. There’s room for everyone at the Bronco table, and on the trails.
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

It’s not having what you want. It’s wanting what you have.

It's like a lifted Chevy El Camino. The mullet of cars! All business up front and party in the back. 😆
Agree, but why the comparison to the El Camino? El Ranchero FTW! LOL - that is what I call Ranchero's, yup, I'm a weirdo!

This all seems like you’re trying to justify your purchase rather than admit 2dr is the only real answer🙃

I'm a purist. Ford is going to do what they want, they don't care what we think.

What is a pure Bronco. An uncut unaltered 1st Gen? Just curious, really.

Well this is a spirited discussion!

The advantage of the 4 door is that it allows those of you who love the 2 door so much the opportunity to have them.

If the Bronco was a 2 door only option it would have limited reach, and probably be a short-lived proposition like the reincarnation of Toyota's FJ several years back. The take rate has always been significantly higher with the 4 door from day1 of the launch.

Bronco is more than a vehicle. Ford is taking the name and associating a certain type of lifestyle with it. The Bronco Sport is a prime example. It is built on the C2 platform (Maverick, Edge, Focus etc..) Maybe those customers can't afford a Bronco, but driving the Sport shows who they are and what they value.

If it has Bronco on it, you will get a thumbs up out of me. Doors and trim aren't really what is important.
It means you are Ford folk and connect with the brand history, which includes many iconic vehicles (and the godawful dual clutch of my old 2017 Focus!!).

2 door, 4 door, it's still a bronco in the end as long as it isn't a wrangler or a "bronco" sport. This may piss people off, but the bronco sport is not a bronco. It's the family member that is welcomed at family events, but they wouldn't be missed if they didn't show up. It is the jeep renegade of the family.

Four-door Broncos have shorter doors that have smaller swing radii, so they can fit in tighter parking spots. 😉

Problem solved when I take the doors off. However, those 2 door doors are HEAVY man. 😅

That is kinda what I am getting at vehicles progress with new technology and styles were do the 2nd-5th Gen Broncos live are those pure Broncos? If we can’t let these iconic vehicle progress then they will just die much like the Camaro, it has been started and stopped and restarted a few times. And now we are on the eve of its last MY in 2024 I would be surprised if it ever comes back. Even the mighty Corvette has had a fairly significant change in the C8 with rear mid engine, purists hated the idea but that is one hellofa car. I see the 4- doors as a natural progression for the Bronco. That said my next one will be a 2-door that will live alongside my 4-door. It might be a ‘72 or might be a 6 Gen, that has yet to be figured out.

Lifestyle? is it a Harley now...
Ford is so insecure that the moredoor wouldn't be taken seriously that they started these offroad schools to try to convince people that you can offroad in a mall crawler.
Ford has 6 other moredoor suvs for people to buy, they didn't need to dilute the Bronco name with a moredoor like Jeep did with the Wrangler. It was done out of whoreish greed, not anything else.
Its as bad as them using the Mach name on an ev toy, they should've called it Fairmont or Granada or some other name that couldn't have its reputation made worse.
Bring a moredoor to the cow trails and logging roads we have here, while your are wedged between oak trees I'll be laughing.

On that note I will tell what I told a salesman at the dealership yesterday as I was waiting on the detail crew to finish my ride. He was telling me he had a 4 door Outer Banks Sas reserved the 1st day but it has just now went in production. In the meantime, he had found a 2dr last year and has grown to like it so he was trying to decide if he should sell it and get his inital reservation instead . I said the 2dr has the correct length door for a fellow as tall as you and he asked what I meant . I said look at the two sitting beside each other over there . The 2 dr not only looks more in proportion but the B piller is not in your way when you're trying to look out the side window . He had to go get in the 4dr and slide the seat back and then said he had never thought about that, it was in the way. That's it ,I'm gonna keep my 2dr is what he said next.

My job there was done :)
I never noticed the B pillar. I looked at it today and then quickly forgot. You are right it is a blind spot. This may sound funny but I like the proportions on the 4 door. I also like the bigger area in the back for the dog. As well, mine came with a soft top. I wouldn't have gotten one if it didn't come with it. I am liking the soft top. All good. To thine own self be true.

Bronco's have 2 doors that the way it is. That being said my life would be a little easier if I spent the extra $3800 on the extra doors.

I went 4 door because of more storage capacity and I planned to get into over landing. Having to build up equipment wise toward that goal laying the seats down to sleep with a mat in the bronco seemed like a legit plan. An depending on your options it just seems like a loss financially to settle for two doors less at the prices were all paying, at least for me personally. But I do like how the 2 doors look don't get me wrong if i were a very wealthy I'd be happy having both. For my plans it just didn't make sense plus I'd get annoyed if in a hurry I had to pull my seat forward for passengers especially so if an emergency in rough terrain. So in short to escape land sharks and mad max it in the wilderness with anyone willing to join or suffice the space with more cargo like a goofy movie. I don't have kids or a wife, honestly don't know why family is the jugular attack on four doors when we're family of broncos two doors? Imma hug you till you stop it like in the movie Step Brothers even as your violently fight back.

Interesting that some feel the need to, rather than make their own arguments in a positive light, denigrate that which they don‘t like, or take name-calling to new heights… Junior high all over again…
