Our family vacation alternates every year between Colorado and some other less fun location (just kidding) and this one was the first long trip in the Bronco. Our family has property in Buena Vista, CO so we end up staying on Mt. Princeton right in the middle of some of the best fly fishing and kayaking spots on earth. The Bronco was missing door and the top for most of the trip until my wife said "Before you do anything else today, you're doing two things. Cleaning my car, and putting the frickin' tops and doors back on." She had enough of the dust and I can't blame her, It was really dry out there this year. It was time to stop "Broncin'" as we like to call it. We had almost no rain the entire time, which isn't typical. Usually by 2pm, we're getting some rainfall that ends in an hour or less. The Bronco is a pretty decent road trip vehicle, things get a little weird if you don't travel light - I have more fly fishing gear than most guides and I'm not a guide - and my girls definitely do not pack light. We used the trail app, went over TinCup (nothing to crazy since we had a long ride home and I didn't need to break anything) , did Garden Of The Gods on the way west, Royal Gorge on the way back and hit Crested Butte, the Princeton Hot Springs, Clear Creek, Cottonwood Pass, Cottonwood Lake (it's two miles up the road from the house) and I did a lot of fishing with my father in law while the girls hung out with grandma. The Bronco will take you anywhere you wanna go, and can handle just about anything you decide to throw at it. Here's a few things from the summer.
