Yikes! The Lite Brite crew picked up their new Bronco Badlands and promptly had to drive through some kind of mega storm on the way home. Multiple semis blown over, roads closed due to power lines down, and some MASSIVE flex in the soft top in the 80+ MPH winds. The video also includes a bonus cameo from Matt's Off Road Recovery.

I would have expected something like this in one of your videos. You normally have luck like that. :cool:

I'm truly impressed with the use of the words " WE ALMOST DIED IN OUR NEW FORD BRONCO". Slightly misleading? Should have said "We almost died in extreme high winds while driving our new Ford Bronco home".

Now is the time we hear from all the fanboys how this is normal for soft tops it’s not just the bronco.? If you have a soft top and love it that’s great I just hope you never have to drive in a heavy storm.
There is another video on YouTube today that’s saying the factor hard top will cost 7,800.00 …if that is factual I don’t think to many people will be happy.

That was some pretty impressive winds. Glad everyone was OK. That windshield did not fair so well however.

Honestly... that video annoyed me. They picked up a BRAND NEW Bronco and then proceeded to drive it into (essentially) a hurricane. WHY?? Why not pull over someplace safe? Why not protect your hours-old Bronco? They ended up with a cracked windshield and who knows what else. By mid-video I was half wishing the top would blow off. :rolleyes: Again, why not stop?? But hey... who cares when you're youtubers making $$ off people watching and liking your videos. Haha - it's entertainment! "We have places to be and things to do!" The video equivalent of "hey y'all, watch this!" Some folks have more money than sense.

The roof held up better then I expected. As someone who loves chasing storms I wonder how my soft top will fare.

Well, if you actually get in the storm, then you will have swiss cheese. That's why I'm not switching from the MIC and adding a full rack as well.

That video may confirm that the snow inside of the Bronco in the other thread is feasibly possible as there was huge gaps from the wind .

Those gaps were scary and shows in a high wind it can be lifted, but I wonder if it's because the middle section was not 'latched down' properly from the factory, maybe?
