Just for fun, let's share some of our silliest mods to date. I've got a couple. My most recent was adding this "ECOBEAST" emblem to the top of my air cleaner. I'll never be accused of taking myself too seriously. 😆

Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

Still wondering if I should even bother affixing this metal "2.7L" emblem to my engine. There is literally ONE flat surface with adequate space to add something. It's on the passenger-side valve cover. Let's face it, these ECOBEASTS aren't the prettiest engines. Still, I really want the 10HP bump these emblems are rumored to generate... 😜

Send it to me please, I have the 2.3. At least I will be able to lift the hood and dream...Actually, I am getting the Ford Performance tune next week. The numbers are pretty close to the stock 2.7 after the tune. I will put on the front quarter panel and then race a Mustang.

How about a dummy charge port? you can go to a charger and act like you are charging, make people wait etc.

I could probably pull that off with my flashing Bronco grill letters . All the cool EVs have them ,LOL.

I consider my sequencing grill lights to be the most non-essential mod I will do to the Bronco. I hadn't seen anyone do it to the grill lights so thought why not. I actually like them but was questioning my decision the whole time I was wiring them up.

Link for the sequencer? I assume you used the Oracle light-up letters. Looks like it's a bit of disassembly work to get them installed. How long did the whole project take you? TIA...

I used this one from Ebay. I had some 7 wire cable that I ran from the grill up to the fuse box area and mounted it inside a small plastic box I had laying around. Right now it is tied to the AUX 6 switch so it only receives power when the vehicle is running and I can keep them off during the day. I also skipped 2 solder pads then 1 then 2 again between each letter since the sequencer is 14 channels. That slowed the flash rate down to an acceptable level. If you solder to pad 1-6 without skipping it flashes super fast.

I've had these since Oracle first shipped and had wired them to the sequencer to make sure everything worked, so I had that part out of the way and tested already. Taking out the grill, removing the stock letters and wiring everything to the Bronco took about 2 hours, including installing the StickerFab overlays. Each trims grill will be a bit different, but I used hot glue and ran the wires inside one of the grooves of the Badlands grill.

The duck off I got when at May it Forward event. It was in a free goodie bag.

I got rid of my Jeep before the duck duck jeep started. Which is a good thing. And I just can't get on board with buck buck Bronco thing with ducks with a horse head and horse tail. So this is a sticker I would put on my Bronco. Guess I will have to keep a look out on Etsy or something.

I really enjoy the 2.3’s engine bay. Reminds me of the before times when vehicles didn’t have plastic covering everything. 😆🍻

I did get the patches on the back of my back seats. I like them more than expected! And, the HP gains from my silly mods, it's undectable!
