anyone mount a bike carrier on there sasquatch, wondering if there is a model that allows you to swing the back door open with the bikes still mounted. Regular tilt version won't work and the swing out version is in question, when adding the extension for the tailgate tire clearance.
any actual experiences or manufacturers test results ?

Hey Kitebrderaj40,
I have bad news for you. As an avid mtn biker, I have tried to fit my enduro bike into the back of my 2dr bronco every which way, and was not able to do it, without taking both wheels off. This of course is a pain the ass, and so I had to break down and buy a VelociRack. Best rack out there in my opinion.

Even with the rear seats down and the passenger seat moved up?

I'll update this thread for anyone wondering - I took delivery of my 2 door Badlands SAS (and love it), JL went to Carvana. I've been putting my large frame 29'er in the back of my Bronco since Day 1. I did, however, remove the seats, but it would fit in between the seats if need be.

I'm still pondering a mount just for ease of use, but a 1UP, plus hitch receiver, extender, and then the swing away to get to my tailgate is approaching $1200 total.

Somebody makes a bike rack that bolts to the spare lugs or you can use one that hangs on the tire. I am looking at the latter as they are easy to take on and off.

Check out ruk rak. I have one. Even though i don’t carry bikes, it has the option to do so.

Late to the party. But here is an option for attaching a 1Up rack directly to the spare tire.

Looking like a perfect way to rip your tailgate off.

With a tailgate reinforcement the leveraged weights calcs out to far less than the load placed on the tailgate when adding a 37” spare and/or a bunch of accessories. I have seen zero deflection in the tailgate while using it. Thank you for your positivity though.

Yah. You have to remember that Ford’s weight specifications states tailgate 133 gross pounds maximum. Pretty sure it’s close to maximum from factory.
