Thank you for the pic but I'm not entirely sure what is showing. I can see that it is from the side but I can't really tell how it's positioned on the roof (the pic is a little too close). What are the measurements showing?

Bizarre I wouldn't imagine any extra brake lights failing unless they are being used in place of factory units. More visibility and warning of braking os always better. Easy fix, just unplug during inspection.

I don`t know about where you are, But if a light is on the vehicle it needs to work on any inspection sheet i`ve seen.
