Does anyone know what the red shut off valve is behind the front bumper/grill on the passenger side? Pictured below on my ‘26 badlands. Can’t find any mention or diagram online. Thanks!

Was there any mods done on your rig?

I don’t know of anything “factory”. I would guess the dealership added something for aftermarket accessories. Was this a new vehicle purchase or a lightly used purchase?

Check with the dealership is my best guess. I can find nothing regarding this as a factory option

I see it in dealer photos online of other badlands models, I’m guessing it’s factory. Just wanted to know what it was cause it seems sorta “accessible,” and “hey look a red knob… twist it,” to someone walking by.

Everything I find says that there is no factory option for this. My guess is the dealership installs them. Do you have the factory upfitter switches?

What dealership did you purchase from? They must add this in for a winch or something

I’m seeing it on many other 26 badlands pictures at many rando dealers too tho. But I’ll ask the dealer tomorrow for sure.

I've got that on my 2.3L Big Bend. Looks like the radiator draincock.

thanks! That makes sense due to the location! I’ll post what the dealer says later today.
I’m wondering if I could paint it black so it’s a bit more inconspicuous. It kinda sticks out like a sore thumb. 🙂
