Great Quote! Absolute truth... We have two of ESV Study Bibles. I like ESV, NLT and NKJV
My church is KJV. The pastor always gives me advance notice if he want me to do a public reading, to make sure I'm ready with a KJV. That's the only one we read from the pulpit. My "spirituality" tends to be cerebral, so I like the ESV study notes.

I have a comic routine, where I lampoon liberal churches: "I'm with the First Generic Church of Christ, "Rainbow." We use the Marxist-Leninist People's Popular Paraphrase of the Purportedly Holy Scriptures. All gender pronouns and references have been expurgated, along with any mention of 'sin' and 'judgement,' as we don't want to be judgmental and risk offending anybody...."
