Been a while since I've posted anything here... Had some friends and family visiting last weekend and took them to Elkhorn, MT, an old mining ghost town, then to Wickes tunnel nearby. Old train tunnel over a mile long. She drove my Raptor and I drove the bronco...

Took the Buck Truck out to go hiking in the scapegoat wilderness. Our 22nd anniversary today,and God bless her, the wife wanted to go hiking. Scenery did not disappoint.

My rebuilt garage!! Months after finishing an interior remodeling, I had to remove a 4X4X8' cabinet built into my garage to park my BRaptor in it.. All of the skilled work was done by a really good friend, and we finished yesterday.



This is quite an achievement for this arthritic, chubby 81YO.

Muddy Creek falls. Pretty rocky, unmaintained trail. About 65 miles south of Glacier NP. I think also in the scapegoat wilderness. Not a super long hike. 5+ miles, but very rough terrain. Bronco got us to the trail head with the pups just fine ...

I got nothing on the last two photos.
But last Saturday started and ended like this:

I have a trailer that's pretty much exactly like that. I built a frame that sits on top to hold my roof top tent. so it creates a bit of secure storage underneath that I can still get to by folding the tent closed and hinging up a portion of the frame. Works pretty good.

I've thought about taking it to the next level and doing just that. But I don't camp enough to spend the cake on a rtt.
This trailer started as a flat bed. I flipped the axle and built the rails. Found some cheap Jeep wheels on offer up and put new tires on it. I've got soooo much use out of it. :)

I got a “cheap” RTT coming in at $600. Still a lot of cake considering I haven’t slept in it yet. 😂 but much cheaper than most.
