We drove through Palo Duro Canyon State Park before heading to Amarillo. Look who is staying at our hotel! We met Korey, Kevin and Brian. Looking forward to tomorrow’s ride!

We wondered the same. Our thought were: the truck and bronco must be loaded with the supplies they need for the event. When we talked with them last night, they were unpacking, it looked like they were bringing the lunch for everyone.

Wow, wow, wow. This was an amazing event in an even better location. If you liked the Bronco Off-Roadeo you will love this event. It really seems like the next logical step you learn the Bronco and how to use it at BOR then you get to apply your knowledge in your own Bronco at Bronco Off-road connect. We had BOR guides leading the show, answering questions and spotting if you need the help. I was a little concerned about the price, but for what you get it is worth every penny. Merus adventure park is an awesome place to wheel and they are great Stewards of the land and the 4x4 community. I can say this a 21degree incline dropping into the canyon for 1/4 mile or so will get that pucker factor turned up to 11 but the Bronco handled it like a champ. Really impressed by this whole experience.

Great to hear this experience was above and beyond what you expected!! I think the price point for up to 4 people is very reasonable to hangout with experienced guides and like minded people who are still learning without being embarrassed of a small mistake or not knowing!!

Turns out they do not have license plates, so that may have something to do with being trailered as well.

Watch the video on the website it gives a better perspective of the park than the pictures do.

I'm going on my own in a few weeks with my son and meeting my father in law in his RV and jeep - need some tips on campsites and logistics and that sort of thing.

Having trouble connecting with the Merus office also.

They do guided trips so you will have to have a reservation. You might be able to join a trip but you will have to be there early morning to get a spot. they have RV sites but only a few their web site as more information. Amarillo is only about 30 minutes if you stay near the Airport location.

All set for Merus (reservations set) - anyone wanting to join, come on... heading up from Houston 6/21 (Wed) and staying overnight at Wichita Falls - then to Merus Thursday - staying at Camp Point - then back to Wichita Falls Saturday evening 6/24 and back to Houston Sunday morning.

Will be driving my Bronco - my son will be in his Jeep JK along with a school pal (his dad might join us) - meeting my father-in-law there in his RV and Jeep.

Group package (3 or more) is a great deal.

Probably Merus 101 first day and Lonesome Dove second day (along with some exploring) and things we spot that we think are worth trying day 3. Jeeps have no lockers - anyone who's been there think that's a problem? (I'm stock Badlands non-Sas). Of course, I understand the owners are pretty hands on and might have better ideas for our trails.

I'm wanting to try the Drop Zone, but it looks pretty slippery for the non-locker guys.

Hmm there were a few spots on the trail we needed to lock the rear that was on the rim trail. Your guide should know better if it will be needed.
But the Drop Zone is a must if it is dry I don’t think you will need lockers. 4low will get you there. Dropping in you need to try the trail/ hill decent (push the middle of the goat mode knob) and set the speed at 4 mph or so and let the Bronco do its thing.
