Exactly what the title states - putting a thread together where we can come and post little tidbits of anything we have done today, and as we build them to our own tastes.

Good to see they are finally in production. I'll have to get that on order.
It is a nice piece of kit for sure.

So today I got my Bronco Nation grill badge installed, my Bronco Nation sticker put on, and took the front roof panels off. Also got out the old laptop out and put Sport mode on my Badlands (totally worth doing) and got rid of the double honk on door closure. Oh and I relocated my keyless pad to inside the fuel door. All in all not a bad mornings work. IMG_1297.jpgIMG_1298.jpgIMG_1299.jpg

I think "Rock Crawl" is what I am missing on my Wildtrak. Do you know if I can can add that? Are there any risks? I won't use it often but just seems like it would be cool to have.

I was not able to find any info about adding rock crawl to a Wildtrak, I think it is because it is missing the sway bar disconnect. Some more research may be in order.

Yeah I thought the sway-bar (stay-bar) might be an issue but I will keep researching. My trail rides won't require it so no big deal either way. Thanks for sharing.

Got adventurous this afternoon and took off the doors. They are impressively heavy. Very glad I purchased the door storage bags as they are super helpful and protecting your doors during removal. Love the fact that the Bronco comes with a tool kit to take it apart.

Took her out to the coast. Driving between 55-75 mph with strong winds, the rear driver side soft top window detached. Was easy to put back on.

Converted my cup-holder phone mount for use with Bronco’s dash GoPro threaded socket:
  1. Removed and discarded cup-holder base from arm
  2. Fabricated a metal bracket from 1/16” x 1” aluminum (this step took by far the most time, with many test fits and adjustments) and spray painted it black
  3. Made thin plastic washers to protect socket and bracket paint
  4. Obtained a bolt- stainless 1/4 x 20 x 1 1/2”- from Lowes (2-pack for under $2); this was my only purchase
  5. Drilled cross-holes and inserted black nylon nut-bolt, which is gently tightened to clamp and retain the arm.
Phone can be positioned to face driver (without blocking view out windshield) or swung to passenger (leaving access to touch screen). Frees up cup holders for coffee, water, or whatever. Easy and cheap (if not quick) modification.

Took her off road and got her real muddy. It was a blast with no doors and top back. Took me 4 evenings of work to clean her inside, outside, and underneath.

Can't wait to do it again. 20220612_185805.jpg20220612_185829.jpg

I ride mine hard and never put it up wet. Always feed it the best oats and always, always use pure synthetic oil for periodic rubdowns. Keep it in a nice stall and use the best cleaners and conditioners to keep coat shiny and healthy. The hoofs may get get a scratch or two but that's the way it is.

Anyone know how to unlock the Navi keyboard while driving? Driving me insane that I have to be completely stopped to type something in
Just use Alexa, she gets it wrong sometimes but it's better than endind up in a ditch or crawling up someone's tail pipe. Just press the mike icon and say Alexa take me to paradise

I'm going to put my 3" lift on and 37"tires with method 703's with 0 offset. My question is what mud flaps would be good. Any advice would be helpful

Made myself an alternative way to mount the ACC sensor outside the grill so it would actually work. These brackets bumper companies are sending to mount it behind the grill are useless. While this is home made and not super elegant, it at least does work perfectly. I will be working on a few other ideas to fancy it up here in next week or so, but if you do need to relocate this sensor, this does work well
I relocated mine behind the grille, and it works fine, just FYI.
