Dash Rail/Phone Mount

Hey everyone,

First time poster here. Just received my 4 door Base Bronco/Antimatter Blue (soft top) over the weekend and I'm over the moon excited. It has lived up to all of the hype and anticipation, IMO.

I know there are a lot of threads here on the topic, but I'm yet to see an official answer (so sorry if I missed it somewhere)...has anyone installed a rail on the dash yet? And if so, do you have a link to the product?
I know the Picatinny rail has been discussed, but not sure if one actually works or exists yet - or if anyone has actually installed it.
This truck is going to be a problem for me accessory wise (bye bye $$$), so I thought I'd start with something that I actually need.

I received mine and added the 67 Designs arms and holders - they are super nice and I love the look of them.

@1Five1 Garage when you get your BAM installed mind taking a few pics and providing some feedback? Looks like a great solution, a bit expensive, but pretty darn nice. I am assuming you have a number of items you are mounting here which is the reason you went with the BAM as opposed to the Tap.

I told you i would do a video... this is the TAP. I will do one on the BAM when we get it.

Some photos of my 67 Design Bronco rail. Used automotive tape on each end as not to drill into the dash. So far holding up well but will test it out off roading soon. Love the set up, super secure, and I plan on adding a GMRS and GoPro to the rail as well.

I looked at theirs - the website is horrible and doesn't have many photos at all or explanation of how things mount to it.

I'm realizing that trying to find a reasonably priced mount system is incredibly complicated. I looked at 67 Designs and it's all greek with the weird ball mounts, and it looks like you need to buy a million parts for it to work with a phone and a go pro - it's not user friendly whatsoever (maybe if you had previously used their stuff, it may make sense, but not for someone who has never seen their stuff).

67D ...Ill agree, it's not a very well put together site. So many questions, so few answers. I actually called. And they made it make sense, but it all looks foreign, and then I'm willing to bet, the excitement when it shows up, turns to disappointment quickly when you realize you need this ball mount, that bolt, this RAM attachment, and one more extension to make the phone reach across the dash.. but if you call they do make sense. But 200 turns to 600 quickly.. haha

yeah that's crazy - I'm not willing to spend that much money for a phone/go pro mount - it shouldn't be more than $200 or $250 TOTAL at the crazy high end
