I am FINALLY scheduled for production

Great for you - congratulations! But this and similar situations leave me speechless compared to where I am (original reservation holder and first day order placed). I have no idea what is going on and cannot get a square answer anywhere. Have seen a ton of folks get scheduled today. Pain.

Man…so sorry to hear that. But that’s honestly why I posted! Just didn’t make sense to me bc I know there are so many people who have waited 2-plus years and I get my VIN a week after I placed my order. I waited to order bc I wanted all the issues to die down first, but it’s been 2 years and there was no end in sight so I decided to order. My plan was to order, forget about it, and when it arrives, it arrives. But did not expect it to be that quick. Like everyone else though, I’m expecting it to be pushed back. Just seems too good to be true lol

New here. So…I’m an original reservation holder but only ordered just about a week ago. I ordered the Badlands with pretty much everything they said NOT to order if you wanted it quick (besides modular bumper). So I fully expected to be waiting a while to hear anything back about a production date. I received an email today saying that my Bronco is scheduled for production for the week of Nov.7th. Any ideas why mine went through so quick? Or is that normal, and I’ll still be waiting a while for delivery? I’ve been out of the loop on purpose so I don’t have a clue how things happening normally.

I suspect it's because of your reservation date. If you have one, Ford uses that instead of your actual order date for scheduling purposes. So, since you reserved way back when, that's what they are going by and it pops you toward the top of the list at your dealership.

Appears from what I have read, (and I'm sure I'll get blasted as soon as I say this..lol) but this looks like 3 weeks of some form of Sasquatch equipped Broncos running down the line..
Congrats to everyone who got a VIN today!! One day closer to having your dream ride!!

THIS. This is why I didn't make a big fuss about getting a build date, less than a year from my original date of order. Because of the disparity. There are so many factors that impact the disposition of a person's order. Yes, the pandemic is a factor. Yes, your dealer's allocation is a factor. Yes, your constraints are a factor. But at the end of the day, the only number that matters is how many days it's been since someone placed their order. In all fairness, I should be taking delivery long after reservation holders have taken delivery of theirs. I am sad to hear your road to acquisition is coming to a end. I only hope whatever you purchase in its stead brings you the satisfaction that you were hoping to gain by obtaining a Bronco. Keep your chin up and do what you must, but above all, enjoy whatever it is you decide to get.

Congratulations!! I updated my order for 2023 yesterday with my Dealer and got scheduled for build week Nov 14th and received my vin # today!!

I received my email today also for the week of November 14. I reserved and ordered in January 2021. Badlands 4dr. with sasquatch.

Same here... finally got my email today... Badlands SASQ... Nov. 14th. I reserved Feb. 8 2021. The email even had the VIN number. Wow!

I had to drop towing. Somehow I guess that let my order finally get picked up. Email today for Badlands Sasq 4 door. Production 9/14. Sorry you don't have help from your dealer.

I got my email yesterday, scheduled for production the week of November 7th. 7/20/20 reservation ordered January of 2021. 4dr/OBX/Sasquatch/Lux/MIC/2.7. I originally had the tow but dropped it as most of what I tow weighs over 6,500 pounds and I have a diesel for that.
It came at a great time as I just lost two vehicles to the flooding in Naples, FL from hurricane Ian.

I hate knowing the process has pushed you out. But I totally understand you have to do something.
Please post pics of the GMC 1500 monday afternoon when you get home. Myself and many others would love to see what you get!!!

Looks like a bunch of us that have need hanging on a long time and update Badlands are getting into production in November as I am set for 11/24 the same production notice. Feels like a dream we night wake up from...

Ordered mine Feb. 21st this year. Rolled to 23 now. No VIN and I am fine with that as long as they are building. From this post, I see they are and I am so happy for you early res/order holders finally getting pulled for build. As others have said, FMC should have stopped orders long ago to fulfill the backlog. Congrats to all you old hands that have been at this waiting game for so long. I will happily wait in this line for my turn as long as it is moving forward. It seems it is. Again, congratulations to all you early birds!

I got bumped from build week Nov 7 to build week Nov 14. Anyone else get bumped? Oh well. One more week, but still in the near future!

Yep. 7 Nov to 21 Nov. In the grand scheme of things, not that big a delay. These dates move around a bunch, and with the 22s bumping back a week, this was pretty inevitable.

I have a reservation date of 08-08-2020, and got my production date of 11-07-22 last Thursday! Base 2-door Hot Pepper Red, 2.3 10 spd auto, Sasquatch, and 3 small additions - wanted a very simple but capable unit. My only disappointment is losing the Anti-Matter blue. I ordered the day my dealer said I could - sometime in late fall of 2020 if my memory is accurate. So I have gotten the two emails none of us wanted to see - You need to change your order from a 21 to a 22, and you need to go from a 22 to a 23:( I have been just waiting on the sideline for things to work themselves out knowing how many things can affect the actual scheduling for production. I used to run the truck inventory for a Ford dealer and know that even the dealer can prioritize orders internally. I believe that many of you may have had that happen.

update: I was bumped to 11/28/22. I knew this would happen, which is why I'm not that upset about it. I am now waiting for this to happen more times. Oh well.

We placed our reservation in May 2021. We had cold feet around actually ordering and hearing horror stories about markups, and we decided to wait. We received an email about the 2023 reservations and ordering process a week ago. We went to a dealer with a good reputation for no markups and only MSRP. We placed our order for a 2023 2-door Wildtrak this week, 10/3/2022.
Today we received an email saying we have a vin, and it is now in production and scheduled for 11/14. It is crazy that it is going so fast, but I assume our old reservation had to do with it. Our order is a 2 door Wildtrak with only High Package and Modular front bumper, so I think that added to our quick timeline.

Well Production week was pushed back 1 week from 11/14 to 11/21. We will see how much more it gets pushed.

I got a production date of 11/17 per Ford Chat! Hoping it sticks 🤞🏻
