Overland Expo PNW!

Hey y'all!

As summer is approaching, so is OE-PNW in Redmond, OR from July 7-9. We had Bronco Basecamp there last year and plan to do the same this year. If you attended last year and/or plan to attend this year, what would you like to see from Basecamp? What kind of accommodations, trail drives, experiences, etc! The sky is the limit, let your imagination run wild, there is no bad idea!

We'd love to hear any and all ideas so we can make Basecamp the best it can be. Also, if you plan to attend, let us know!

@jparker @Laura will there be someone watching the Basecamp during the excursions? If we could leave our tops/doors there during the excursions confident that they were safe and secure that would add value to this experience! (And I could sell me wife on the cost) I personally have never had either off because it rains without warning where I live and when visiting warmer climates I haven't had a safe secure place to leave these things.

@OrangecrushBronco, we won't have a way to secure tops/doors, unfortunately. We are working on the agenda, and as soon we as we can post it, we will. The kickoff hangout is on Thursday.

@OrangecrushBronco we will likely have staff on site during the day at Basecamp but of course cannot promise constant overwatch at all times. There would be sufficient room inside the Glamping tents to store doors and most of the roof, but that'll be at the personal risk of the owner of the vehicle, Bronco Nation would not be liable.

I’d love to see someone try to discreetly make off with someone else’s top or doors. Those muthas are heavy! So, anything less than Seal Team Six, operating with an attack helicopter flying in stealth mode and sporting a winch is bound to raise a few eyebrows. 🤓

Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

Problem is theft has become so rampant discretion is no longer needed. There are people cutting cats off cars in broad daylight watching people record them and they don't even care. Time for a Mad Maxx edition Bronco. lol.

@London any chance there will be Off-Rodeo merch available at the Overland Expo PNW? At Bronco events I've been seeing alot more/newer options of Off Rodeo gear folks are wearing. I did notice that the language Off Rodeo guides mentioned in the Basecamp offerings.

I hear that, Chris! We will be hosting our island-living kids this summer (they live in the RMI) and are expecting grand baby number six while they are here, so trying to schedule most anything else is rife with issues…. It’s one reason we went to Moab early (although not dealing with the summer heat was another reason)…

Possibly looking for some things to do while road-tripping to NC in September for family wedding.

The Overland Basecamp fee of $75 is in addition to the OE registration fee as that is the ticket to get into the event. The Basecamp fee allows you to camp with us and enjoy the benefits and space that Basecamp offers.

All those wishing to be a vendor will need to register with Overland Expo and reserve/pay for a booth space through them! Unfortunately we aren't permitted to have vendors in our space since we are technically a vendor and paid for the space :)

@BuckYeah, you will quickly be on sensory overload with the actual Expo portion! I am hoping to dedicate spending more time with the BN peeps and on the trails. Maybe 4-5 hours on one day tops at the Expo itself.
