While I wait for delivery, I am picking up accessories here and there and was curious if anyone has mounted an on board air compressor and if so, what model and where? Also, open for any recommendations if you have them.

718, 859, and 918 on ebay. A quick search showed three of the dual arb compressors. 579, and 572 on Amazon.

Dug around on Amazon and the only 12V that I could find is going for $598 or higher at the moment.

Recently saw an ARB compressor installed under the Bronco driver's seat, but I don't think I'll be doing that. We recently installed an ARB in the back of our Wrangler - hope a similar spot is available when my Bronco arrives.
I saw one under the passenger seat of a Jeep 392 while I was looking around. Was a slick setup but I’m not sure I’d want one there either.

That may be true, I didn't look at the voltages.

Now all I need is my bronco.

That’s where my wife installed an ARB Twin in her JLU Rubicon. Very convenient in that location; included hose reaches all 4 tires easily; doesn’t impede on floor space for back seat.

Nice. I guess I’ll just have to stay open minded about it until I actually get my Bronco.

I've been using a SmittyBilt 2781 compressor for a few years now. This last year I added a high pressure shutoff switch and check valve. This has made it equal or better than the ARB. This compressor takes about 2 minutes to air-up a 33x12.5R15 from 17 to 35 PSI.

On my '68 project I mounted one of these under the hood and a Viair 5 gal tank where the aux fuel tank was. Planning to run lines to the bumpers and have a quick coupler at each end of the Bronco.

I have three of the same SmittyBilt 2781 5.65 CFM compressor (ARB Dual 6.16 CFM), 5 years no issues.
Keep them in different trucks, all portable for easy transport and no commitment should one fail.

Portable sherpa Big Air makes 10 CFM at same price as Dual ARB.

Top of form is the Oasis XD4000, neighbor has one it is like have a shop compressor. pricy.

I watched a youtube video of a guy who built his twin ARB into a weatherproof case. I liked the idea and did the same. Makes it completely portable. Now i only need one compressor for all my vehicles.

Can't emphasize how awesome this inflation kit is...works with any kind of compressor saves a lot of time. Quality components. Even distribution.

Just received my Morrflate. It’s sweet! I went with the “stubby” so the manifold and gauge can be easily separated from the hose.

This thing is cool and well put-together2F485323-1E37-4FCA-B3AD-BF82D56706C5.jpeg. Not just for airing down and up, but even for nailing the pressures on our daily drivers!

Sweet! Love it - I am awaiting a few Ford accessories and will get my kit pre-summer when I plan on doing most of my airing down. Thank you for sharing, that's what this Forum is all about!

One more thing on the Moorflate. The beadlock wheels do a great job protecting the stem, but make it challenging to get a chuck in there.

I kicked this around with Tyler at Moorflate, and opted for small, single tooth chucks. Super easy to work with and should be plenty durable. He later told me another Bronco tried their standard locking chuck and was able to make it work.

If you look at their website you will see what I mean. There are two options for the actual chucks that connect to your valve stems.

Good note. I just put on some "Bronco" air valve covers and noted how far back the stems are. I am writing up a 1K review and will include that observation.
