No Longer A Mall Crawler Thanks To Merus Adventure Park

Took the rig for its first wheeling this past weekend and it was awesome! I did Offroadeo in Moab a couple of months ago and it was an unbelievable experience as well. So when my wife and I went to Merus just south of Amarillo, TX, I felt pretty comfortable doing the blues. This park has been open a couple of years and Palo Duro Canyon is amazing. The Merus crew has done a great job creating a fun environment for anyone. It's a great environment for families. In a few weeks they are going to open the cabins with full amenities that sleep 6 to 8 with A/C. So much now and so much more to come. Even though we live six hours away we are joining with the annual membership. If you haven't been I certainly recommend it. See link and a few photos.

Lots of green this year in the canyon. This area has had the most rain ever this year. You could come for 10 years straight and not see a year like this Year.

Yep, our guide Jonathon told us that he had never seen it that green nor anyone he knows can ever remember it that plush. The views were absolutely stunning.

Great photos! Would love to see another Bronco Nation event there. Somewhere new that the wife and I could take the camper that has great camping options. The date this year for Off-Road Connect didn’t work for us this time, but maybe sometime in the future! Escondido Draw was good though.

Is Escondido Draw an ORV park? I wanted to go to that one since it is much closer to us but the wife really wanted Merus I am super glad we did Merus but I was having severe FOMO about Escondido. I really hope they do more Off-Road Connects.

Yes it is an OVR park. Everyone had to have the state issued ‘off-road vehicle’ sticker for the Bronco to attend. It was a great time, and yes I would love to see more of these too!
