New Color for Bronco? Shelter Green Metallic

This would be nice if they add som accent colors. Similar to the bottom strips on the F-150, or some good looking strips.

I like almost any color on a vehicle. That said, Shelter Green looks like the love child of Dessert Sand and Eruption Green. Not a bad thing, but I’d want to see it on the Bronco’s skin before saying I’d order it.

I’d like to see a Bronco in a copper color at some point.

They had a dull copper on the Bronco Sport for awhile that was pretty slick.



Don't think it would look good on the normal Bronco, so my vote is bright-ish. The had a color called Desert Copper on the old 5th generation Broncos (and other Ford vehicles) for a while in the mid-1990s. Wouldn't mind if they brought that back.

Ford used to have a green for the F150s called Guard, I think. That was a nice forest green. That's what I could go for, or a more military green. I'll probably just get mine wrapped.

If they bring the Everglades back I could see it as an exclusive color for that trim. And from Talking with the Ford Executive at the off road event at Merus he really wants to bring it back and this time really advertise the release, he felt that is why the take rate was low. I like the green.

I like it with the dark top. The white reminds me of this combo from Super Cel West, which I also kinda like.

I'm just curious what late availability color changes ford will make at the end of MY2023 Bronco... for the Bronco and Ranger MY 2024... Maybe a Ranger Wildtrak 🤔 ? Ford just list about 6-8 colors as of now... so hopefully that means they add 2 or 3 new colors for 2024 after the 2023 year ends. While a few colors will be Model specific. So maybe 2 new ones across the board for Bronco.

I would lean more towards the brighter side. There was a copper colored Challenger a few years ago that was stunning. The Bronco would look good in that color, or a bronze, because the MIC or soft top color would offset it, subdue it. It’s all about balance. Too much of any color is distracting.

I call it BSG because thats what it looks like.Beginning to think the color planners are color blind.

Mike Levine tweeted about the Build & Price update for the 2024 Ranger this morning, with a build-out in Shelter Green Metallic.

Knowing that Bronco and Ranger share a line at Michigan Assembly Plant, paint colors and all, do you think certain trims will see this color on Bronco, specifically, the Bronco Raptor?

Would you order this green? Do you like it more than Eruption Green? Let us know!

Oh most definitely. Leans towards an olive drab tone. I know what I will put on any future Bronco I order.

Copper would be cool! I love Eruption Green and so far, I love this green. I personally would not do Lime, but others love bright colors and that's awesome. Honestly, I just like NEW. Makes spotting Broncos on the road more fun.

It will definitely go over with the military community. Love my carbonized gray but after so many years in uniform I'm institutionalized to love OD green.

It's like if kodiak brown and eruption green had a baby. Eruption brown, perhaps? We need a flat, non-metallic green like military green or boxwood.

Evacuated bowel brown...?

Id like to see Forest Service Green, personally.

I have said it before I don’t think there is a wrong color for the Bronco. If I had a choice I would pick a dark blue like AMB because most of the time I buy off the lot so I usually get whatever color has the options I like. I have only ordered 2 vehicles one was Deep Wedgewood Blue, the other Desert Sand. I wanted a tan Bronco since the reveal. I find it strange that after I own a vehicle and live with it for a while I end up liking the color. But I can say that most of my vehicles have been some sort of blue.

I like to look at and admire the extreme colors ( like Jeeps) but wouldn’t want them for my daily driver
