Hey all!

The Bronco Nation team has been working on a project for some time: NEW member benefits for the crew. You can find the full article here, but as a summary, we have reintroduced Premium Membership, but in an entirely fresh format.

Premium Member Benefits include (more to come!):
  • Ford X-Plan pricing. Save on your next Ford vehicle.
  • 20% off one-time purchase (up to $200 off) at the Ford Accessories website.
  • Discounts on Ford Drive Experiences (Bronco Half Day Adventure and Bring Your Own Bronco, plus the Mustang Experience). Get behind the wheel with expert-led adventures.
  • FordPass Rewards 1,000 Bonus Points. Boost your balance and redeem points on gear and services. Coming in Q4 2025.
  • 10% off BFGoodrich Tires for legendary traction at a better price.
  • Hotel discounts through IHG hotels and resorts for road trips, events, and everything in between.
  • 10% discount on merchandise, gear, parts, and accessories

The new Premium Membership costs $60 a year, and current paid members will get the above benefits AUTOMATICALLY for the rest of your annual subscription.

We will also keep a free tier, which includes these core benefits Premium Members also receive:
  • Your official member number
  • Member Map access to find fellow owners, trails, and ride opportunities
  • Trail drives and local meetups near you
  • Special event perks and access at Bronco gatherings nationwide
  • Member-only gear bundles and exclusive product drops designed for life on and off the trail
  • Plus, an annual 10% off on merchandise, gear, parts, and accessories

It was our desire to make your membership more useful for you and your family, and we look forward to bringing more value to everyday ownership.

Thank you for being the best part of Bronco Nation!

As you mentioned previously, you can't please everyone. People complained when the membership was $70 and they got a few things and now they complain when it's cheap and you don't get any swag. Now they offer both and people still complain.
Hmmm, lesson is that some people complain no matter what.

Nobody is forced to buy the membership..

For me, it's more about supporting Bronco Nation. Heck, I can easily blow through $30-$60 in a day for junk that might get tossed in a drawer never to be seen again for years..

The new membership, at $60 for a full year, is a good deal if you ask me.. Sure I can find discounts codes, and I am pretty good at scrounging for them, but these give me more options.

Heck, last year I attended the BN Base Camp at the PNW Overland Expo. Let me tell you, they fed us all 3 days ---> for free, provided us with official off-roadeo trail guides for the trail rides ---> for free, and more.

How much would that one event have cost me if I had paid out of my own pocket? I am guessing that 30-years worth BN membership fees still would not equal the monetary value I received..

Meh, I'll buy it every year even if I never use the benefits. If I want to use them, then cool, they'll be there for me..

My BN Grill Badge, that I received for free as a gift from @Sven, faded. I've had it for over a year and BN Store just replaced it for FREE.. A year + later, for something that I didn't actually purchase myself, and they still replaced it, and shipped it ---> for free.. That's something I want to support..

The only additional thing I would have asked for in a special premium level is the return of Bronco Nation live streams. The community hasn't been the same since those no longer happen.

Agreed! I enjoy the Long MacArthur live streams when I catch them, but the timing isn’t great (Friday 2pm pacific time)…

BN Live streams were a real bonus, and introduced us to many different Bronco events around the country.

Disregard as I now see the page where all the offerings are listed BUT...

I did a Tredder quote yesterday on my camper without the special link and then I did it again this morning with the special link and the quotes are exactly the same. No discount applied.. Just FYI...

Meh, I'll just stick with what I already haz I guess..

I'll look into this -- I know we say that the discount is applied at purchase when accessed through the link, but I'm unsure if the link alone demonstrates the discounted amount (Vs. going straight to Tredder) or if there's an issue.

This is cool, as I was an original Premium member I would like to keep my premium status when it rolls around next year. Will there be a sign up then?

You will get a 30-day notice and a 3-day notice that your year is set to renew when it's time, so use your upgrades now, and then no action will be needed when it's time to renew if your card on file is up to date.

I think mine just auto renews.. I got the benefits added to my account now and it'll last, as a free upgrade, until my next billing / auto renew cycle.. When it renews I'll be charged the $60 smackaroos then.. I think premium was previously $30?

That's correct, or members can move down to the free tier of membership if they would like.

Slightly off-topic... @Laura who is the person wearing the purple shirt in the hero image you used for this article? I recognize Chase Gentry and Gabby Downing as Ford Ambassadors.

I believe it's Andrew Muse? We don't get too much in-person action with ambassadors, but I know he is one.

Thank you for the feedback so far. What we have introduced with this set is not the end of member benefits, and we know people want swag, and we talk about how we can accomplish meeting the desires of the community. I, and others on the team, take note of all the requests we see, from more Sport merch, to stickers and patches, to event attendance and more.

Both as a member of this community and as Bronco Nation staff, I appreciate and am thankful for the friendship, support, and desire to do more together with Broncos (and even without them), and I know the rest of the team would agree.

But how much swag can you / should you be expected to give out at a $60 membership fee, considering the other benefits offered?

$60 a year is peanuts in the big scheme of things...

Pretty sure it was $50. I don't remeber it ever being $70 but I could be wrong. Now it's the same with no kit so I'm not sure that's "cheap". It's always hard to please people especially everyone. I just hope they keep the lights on and are able to keep the Nation going.

That's bizarre I purchase both the white and black grille badges and never got them replaced despite the fading. The Basecamp was great but never free and it faded each year to the point of no Basecamp this year. It was just my .02 having been involved in car clubs for many years and seeing the approaches and signs of the clubs that survive and the ones that go extinct.

The other car clubs I'm in are $45-50 and have quite a bit of swag so there are comps. I have other memberships that are $50-60 with little to no swag but those are museums and charities. Not to say your wrong but I don't eat peanuts unless they're in peanut butter. I don't wear Costco shirts despite it being a discount club I pay for. I have LOTS of BN gear because it is different. 😆 FWIW if it weren't for the real-life interaction with BN members, present company included, and BN's (very limited) involvement somewhat local I would have dropped my membership years ago. Problem is there are no events unless I drive a couple thousand miles and pay $10k to go camping or turn my rig into mad max for KOH.

Historically, membership started as only one tier ($69.99), all the way back in July of 2020.

Being in-person with other owners is one of my favorite and the best parts of this job; it would be awesome to do more. It's been so great to take the friendships I've made from Bronco Nation and bring them out from events only and start planning small trips and hanging out with them at other get togethers. I like the varied background, experiences, interests, and ages you get from Bronco people.

Plugging into a local Bronco club (I have Michigan Bronco Club and Southern Michigan Ladies Bronco Club), where many owners are also BN members for pre-built relationships as a bonus, helps bridge the gap from the events on the other side of the country, for me. I'd highly recommend if anyone is in an area without major Bronco events, and even if they are!

I gave up on Tredder.. They do not answer their phone and they do not respond to email inquiries.. Pretty sure I do not want insurance from a company that has zero customer support..

if you looked into it, thanks but I am personally no longer interested in them..
