I have zero complaints about the rock blocks I went with the biggest size for maximum protection. I'm not sure I haven't looked at any reviews so I'm not sure what they are complaining about I think they are great keeping in mind I didn't buy for appearance I don't like mud flaps in general. but I wanted paint protection and quick removal and they fit the bill perfectly!

I agree, no mudflap looks good in my opinion.
Do you usually take them off when you go off road? The 1st time I went, I took them off but really didn't have a good place to put them. They were already a little muddy when I took them off so when I put them all in the back of the Bronco, the front ones ended up getting all scratched up.

The last time I went, I kept them on because I knew it was really going to be muddy and didn't want mud all over the door handles. They took a pretty good beating but held up pretty decent. I've heard that you have to watch them when you back up because they can get pinched between the obstacle and the wheel which will rip them off.

I have the weathertech mud flaps. Easy install, pretty good coverage, with one "complaint" on my part that has to do with the gap in the front between mud flap and Sasquatch fender flares. See attached pics.

They are somewhat "stiff", as they are resin vs. rubber. But after going off road with them, they hung in there and did a really good job of protecting the majority of rocks and debris from flinging up everywhere including directly behind me.

At only $100 for all 4 wheels, they are quite a decent option for the time being.
I’m still waiting for Fed Ex delivery of my W.T flaps hopefully today. Thank you for your pictures. I would like to ask about that gap for the front flap, that does not look good, did you notice dirt/rocks hitting your rocker panels?

it depends on the terain rock crawling yes otherwise not usually for the sake of keeping the door handles from getting plastered with mud

When I first saw the price on the Gatorbacks, I laughed and said no way!
I ended up getting some blank ones on sale a while before I got my Bronco.
I installed them recently and they work fantastic! I really like how easy it is to remove the bottom half, but when you have the bottom on it deflects so much junk.
I would now recommend them.

I went with the weathertech they fit with perfect contour and needed no tooling or drilling to install set of 4 was $99 ...
I've hear some say that because they are hard thick plastic rather than rubber they may Crack if you are stressing them over rocky terrain.

Made this install vid for them ...

Thank you for posting your mud flaps mine will be delivered today, and returned ASAP, those are some pretty large gaps. I guess I’ll spend the $$$ on the Rok Bloks.

I went with Maxzina off of Amazon. I paid $149 for all four. I haven't installed them yet as there is much I am doing that would require me to uninstall them to reinstall them again. When I do I will post pictures! Are they the best looking, strongest, or easiest to install . . . probably not but they look like they will do what I need them too.

I at first was going to get the Weather Tech, but they had a Bronco on the lot with them installed and I am not a fan of the funny cut out shape of the front flaps. Nor do I see the reason for it. If you have them installed on your Bronco let me know your thoughts.

Has anyone tried the REK mudflaps? I see them advertised on IG and FB. Would be interested in feedback on those as well.

I have them on the front , very happy with them, between them and the running boards the paint has been saved, and I live on a gravel road...

Good conversation here, 500.00 seems crazy expensive for gatorbacks. and the RockBlokz have hit or miss reviews on other forums.

decisions decisions. Im thinking this will be a black friday/ cyber monday kind of purchase.

keep the insite and photos coming!

You can find them on sale sometimes and they are well worth the $$. Having sent back rokblokz sets for my Raptor and later Ranger Tremor due to their poor quality and install, I'm never going to be a fan of theirs.

I'm very happy with my gatorbacks on all of my Ford vehicles.

Gatorbacks have heavy duty brackets that bolt to wheel wells, have lower halves that easily remove when u need the clearance, and are terrific on protection from the rocks readily thrown by the aggressive tread tires.

I installed the MAYBETTS they form well to the fenders and look good. Only pic I have is a in the box and on from the rear corner I will up load a better pic tomorrow.
Those look great. similar to the look of the built-in flaps on the B-Raptor.

Gatorbacks. Only way I'd go. Great protection, very well made, and the lower half is easily removed when you need the clearance. So many of the other options out there are way too flimsy and cheaply made.
What's the step setup you've got? is the "running board" a true rock rail? And are the lower steps removable for off-roading? Who made them, and how much?

The steps are go rhino d6 steps. Yes the stirrups easily unbolt for clearance. The flaps lower halves also easily remove for clearance.

These can be far cheaper with sales occasionally, but all Bronco products have gone way up since I purchased my stuff last year.

Rokblokz XL on the Sasquatch. Fronts only, because I don't care about rocks hitting the car behind me, and there isn't any bodywork behind the rear wheels to protect. In most reports I'm seeing of people wrecking flaps off road, they seem to be wrecking the rears. I picked Rokblokz because;

They give good coverage

They are bolted to the crash bar mounts, not the aluminum body panels (Crunch)

They remove with 2 allen screws in a couple of minutes

They are USA made

They have a proven track record of durability, there's people with J**ps that have moved them to their new vehicle several times as they've traded them in and they still work like new

To my eye they are the most aesthetically pleasing option

The downside of Rokblokz are;

Rokblokz is charging a 100% Bronco tax. Rokblokz Bronco flaps are twice as expensive as any other model they sell

Rokblokz will not sell you replacement parts for the product they just completely overcharged you for

Rokblokz will, however, very courteously sell you another complete set, and smile all the way to the bank

The Weather Tech have been shipped back. The gap between the flair and the bumper is a critical gap. The Rok Blokz Xtra long are supposed to arrive today, we’ll see

Anyone who ordered the rokblokz for Sasquatch, did the kit come with the large bolts to attach the brackets? I seem to be missing them.
