Just saw a consumer protection sticker on a 2023 Base Sas $45,000.WOW my base was $35,000.

That off the carrier had the below sticker, Country of Origin ENGINE MEXICO. Well my dealer just removes them so no body ask question.

Ford in writing said 2.3L made in Cleveland,Ohio engine plant.

Well hear the word from the horse's mouth:

"We have video monitors in the plant where Joe Hinrichs answers questions that employees send him. He confirms that the engine is in fact produced in Mexico." THE BIG LIE!

Habla ego boost! Some Rangers had stickers in engine bay saying Cleveland but window stickers MEXICO!
HERE IS THE PROOF. No wonder the 2.7 L ego boost had so many issues in bad valves!

Ok, this has now turned into Russian Troll territory. You can't repeatedly make this kind of content up. But a troll sure could.

There are probably 27 countries involved in the making of that engine. Who cares? It’s a global economy. Detroit ain’t exactly a dream location either.

@frankgoss .
I’ve read dozens of your posted thread topics .
I have a (fundamental respect) for (anyone’s )
perspective / opinions / experiences and thoughts on any given
Ford / Bronco / community
All topics
Information.

As now I don’t want to have an
“Opinion on your Opinion “

An honest question here,

Have you had any
(POSITIVE)
personal experiences or opinions on the Bronco ?
If so ?
Could you please post a link to your thread ?
Thanks.

Here is a link on Cleveland engine factory. All v6 in video ? Where are I4?

Others have followed my post on Imbedded modem causing battery Deep Sleep and start and stop becoming disable per FORD UK service manager if state of charge is 75% or 12.4 v. Just back from dealer . Battery test shows printout 12.43v after1:O2 hrs onFord Rotunda machine ticket. Bummer? Hated the start stop and disabled manually now FORD POWER MANAGEMENT DOES IT FOR ME.. If in deep sleep mode say 12.015v the Ford Pass does not have remote features but agents have battery start of charge and log time, but no history. Health check was ok but battery was 40-80% state of charge.

Will report any other issues. These 80-100 chip talk and use current milli amps, but found best to keep locked and in sleep modes or trickel AMG charger. PIA!😥😥

Logic says for economy of scales the the Spain Ego Boost for EU was the blueprint in Spanish for the SOUTH OF THE BORDER Mexican engine manufacturing facility.

Logic says the hourly labor cost in Spain or Mexico was way lower that a UAW in thr Cleveland engine assembly plant. So how could it have worked. Well the block casting of aluminum, need lots of electricity. And electricity is made by coal and oil, which creates pollution and in Mexico the laws on pollution are poor, like the poorly paid non UAW Mexican labor force. So in the management theory of economy of scales, Mexico engine manufacturing is saving big Blue Oval hundred of millions in non UAW labor costs.

If your employer just lost 2 billion dollars, dont you think your management would cut corners in engine production. Remember it now has to last 5years. Why? Mexico!

The transfer from Mexico to final assembly MAP is most likly a "short block" made engine as opposed to a "long block". I have had two large BMW's 4.0 V8 replaced due to bad gasoline in USA, too high sulphur content. EU has cleaner gasoline requirements.

Then thousands of ego boost engines go by rail up to MAP, and in return trips sends USA made transmission and other parts back to Mexico for Sports.

The right hand of big Blue Over doesnt talk to left hand and the Bronco Marketing Team is proof positive. Their " dog and pony" (horse) show showed us a great roll out! 120,000 of 190,000 converted orders or refunds this week " drop dead" date!

But no one worked with UAW and production people on how many they could make in a month, then the chip crap hit. Did you see any Asian made car dealers lots empty?😮😮

A public company must respond to its stakeholders, most are institutional investors, like mutual funds, where your 401K's may be. So big Blue Oval switch from spanish blueprints on engine building to Mexico. Logical? What happen with Maverick roll out same thing Marketing says under $20,000 small truck made in Mexico mostly, 90,000 reservations. Had to close down order or reservation in one week. It will take 5 years to built out. Great marketing but non UAW workers putting them together.
The sad reality of it all is that Ford just does not care. And I’m sure they all know what department is doing what but again the bottom line they just don’t care Ford will lie to anyone and everyone just like uncle Sam the sad reality is that honor integrity Respect are very rare and hard to find . You’re not wrong for posting the truth the irony is as you can see in some of the responses that you’ve gotten most people don’t care. If this country is attacked, I wonder if people will care .

If any automaker built a vehicle totally in the US with only materials from the US, you would not be able to afford it thanks to the UAW and US Government that wrote the same CFR you posted TWICE!

I am happy to drive a vehicle who's manufacturer is smart enough to find a more economical ways to produce a quality vehicle.

Please explain how the 2.3l being built in MEXICO has anything to do with the valves in the 2.7?????
