I want to improve interior lighting inside my 4 door. I'm wondering what others have tried, done, or fir helpful tips. If I'm going to add lights I'm hoping I can use existing wiring from the factory lights.

Thank you.

The only thing that is keeping me from ordering these is that you either have to open up a door or put them on a switch to manually turn them on. You can't turn on the regular dome lights and have them come on also.

I've been thinking about a red light for the cargo area. Would use when I don't want a bright white light.

You can hook them up to the when door opens and hook to aux switch as well, so can turn on with door open and manually turn on with aux switch. (This may have been what you meant, if so, sorry for the repeat.)

Thanks for clearing that up. I figured it was one or the other but if you can wire them both ways, then that would work pretty good.

Any pics of it installed and functioning?

Installed on upper edge of back roof section just above lift rear window. Sorry, don't have a night shot with it on, but is a bright LED.

I've been considering these for dark cubbies like the glove box and the console.

Rechargeable Touch Lights

I like them because they're rechargeable and have a low profile for tight spaces.
Chris here. I drive a 2-door Velocity Blue 2023 Ford Bronco Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, a 2.7L V6, and an automatic transmission. It’s fun.

So after driving the Bronco to California and a good nights sleep I decided to dive in and take a shot at the installation of the IAG Dome lights. Removed the front and middle roof panels without an issue by myself. Took my time and got all the trim pieces removed. All in all everything was pretty easy with a couple of areas of extra care and one step that has been rather difficult. I have everything done except the wire tap for power. Following the IAG instructions, which are available on line everything was smooth except that damn wire harness. The issue is that there is no extra play in the length of it. So one must use extreme care when cutting the tape that wraps the wire bundle. It is also extremely difficult looking at the wires. I recommend a head lamp or a self standing, flexible flashlight. My biggest issue is a combination of bad lighting and recognizing the grey wire with the purple stripe. Plays right into my blurry color blindness. So I stopped and had lunch and I am with my wife at her Dr. Appointment. I will wait until my daughter gets home with her light from work and her non color blind eyes.everything is done and reassembled except for the wire and battery. Total time is right at 1.5 hrs right now with about 20 minutes of dicking around time included for the wire.

So after I got back used the light my daughter brought home and identified the correct wire and finished the installation in five minutes. Having a strong hands free light did the trick.

Roof panel removal was maybe ten minutes to remove and store out of the way.
Installation instructions on line were good. Wiring harness was a pain in the ass to deal.
Small hands and good, hands free lighting are a must.
Panel removal kit really helps out.
When removing interior trim pieces use extra care.
On drivers side, when feeding harness through the A pillar, remove the Torx screw and clip, holding the A pillar trim piece. This helps with fishing the wires through.

When removing the drivers side trim piece, next to grab handle, use care on the bottom when pulling off. It has two inserts that want to bend the receptor piece underneath.

Once the wire is fed down through the back of the panel, I also disconnected the two harnesses directly below the one which is utilized, plus the two harnesses connected to the the lower dash. It just made it easier to work with the, out of the way.B8C0327D-1C38-4EE5-AADC-9C86E2F8CC82.jpeg

Thanks for posting this thread. My set was delivered last week, but the weather here hasn't been cooperative enough for me to get around to the install yet.
