If you were buying a new vehicle, but weren't buying a Bronco, what would you buy? Or, if Ford didn't offer the Bronco, what would you buy, or want to buy?

I would love to buy a Super Duty-based SUV, yes, the Excursion. If they still made them, and offered it with the 7.3L gas engine, I'd sell my Super Duty tomorrow.

I don't need an SUV or off road capability. I'm at a point in my life where I can get my fun mid life crisis car. Therefore I have the Bronco Sport on order because it's fun, not because I need it. The other cars I considered were the mustang and a miata. I don't know what I would get if the Bronco wasn't available. Now that I've seen it and test drove one, nothing else is going to scratch that itch.

I would have a lot more money in the bank and less joy in my life!

I absolutely LOVE my '19 DRW Super Duty. That being said, I would definitely purchase another Excursion if Ford ever decides to build them again. There are several customizers out there that will build you one with old X parts if you furnish the Super Duty truck and $40k-$50k. Thankfully we still have an '03. The only downside to this one is that it has the 6.0 diesel. Suspensions have come a long way in the last twenty years, but it is still fun to drive and gets 18 MPG for a seven passenger bus!

If we weren’t getting a Bronco, it would definitely be a 2023 Ford Expedition 4 wheel drive with the Stealth Performance Package. The 2 wheel model with that package was just tested by Car and Driver, and it does 0 to 60 in 4.9 seconds. Plus the interior looks great.

I’d just keep the GT350.

Oh the C8 on the other side the guy traded a 2018 GT350 with under 8k miles on it so that would be cool too.

I'm terribly sorry, but my Love for Fords runs too deep. I'd rather Fix Or Repair the 6.0 Daily than stick anything that came out of a Dodge into it.

I agree, I do love my Fords that why I still have the thing. my Cummins came out of a Freightliner FL70. I was trying to find one out of an old ford school bus or F750 it would have had Ford valve covers and if I could have gotten an IH build block that would have been the ultimate. And I’m not too far off medium duty Fords do/did have Cummins.

If I Weren't Buying a Bronco.....

I'd be buying the 2023 INEOS Grenadier. In fact, I have a reservation on one and spec'd this version:

OK, about to pull the trigger on a Chrysler 300C with 6.4L Hemi. It's a limited edition, last year of production, 2000 units built for the US market with the 6.4L 485 horsepower.

Talk me out of it?
