Hello everone!

I know this type of question has been asked before, but I couldn't find much recently. After waiting nearly 2 years I finally got an "In Production" status on my 2022 Bronco Outer Banks Hard Top model. The blend date on the window sticker was 6/30 and I had heard that it typically takes a few days after the blend date for the status to become "built". However... its been over 2 weeks now and I have received no updates. Other posts mention getting emails regaurding updates on delays. The last email I got was just that my bronco had been "scheduled for production" (not even one for "in production").

Is this outside of the normal amount of time after the blend date for my bronco to be built?
Should I be getting more information from ford regaurding delays.

I already have time off for early august and was hoping to take a road trip. What do you think the likely hood of that might be at this point?

Welcome to the Bronco Nation !
Unfortunately it’s normal.
A window sticker is a major hurtle to have jumped.
“Outer banks (seem) to not have (as many) delays as higher trims .
but time will tell.
Your next notification will be
“Built “.

You would have to ask your dealer for a Vehicle Visibility Report on your vehicle to get the most current status.

Michigan Assembly Plant shut down for the July 4th holiday, and will remain shut down until 7/25. Since your blend date was just prior to the holiday it may not have been completed before the shut down began. Or it may be built but waiting for a component, or... who knows.

Wow if thats true then that would be incredible bad luck for me. Finally something exciting happens for my bronco and it gets delayed another 3 weeks :(

Not necessarily,
Plant shut down , but computer chips shipped to Ford in the meantime!
Could fire you right up off of the line and ship it out.
But who knows.
“Not necessarily bad news”

Actually,
It happened to me and my Buddy’s.
His blend was a day before mine.
We were both “on the line” the last Friday before Ford was shut down for the following week.
Many were being parked on ice mountain from the previous weeks build cycles.
When the plant opened back up ?
we were built and shipped almost immediately.
True Story !

Hey, @braincrumbs. Welcome to The Nation!

I can tell you based on the below ongoing project, the average days from production to build is currently 33 days (based on 173 current survey submissions).

Mine has been built since 6/8 and I still don't have it. I've had a VIN and window sticker since May 13th. I've received three different delivery dates, all of which have been missed. It was supposedly due to extra quality control measures, and now it's trying to get the shipping to Indianapolis scheduled. I'm only 4.5 hours from my Bronco!! My latest delivery date was supposed to be between 7/5 and 7/11. It's now 7/15 and no word from Ford or my dealer.

I wouldn't count on that road trip in early August.

Same story, my blend date was 7/1 and NOTHING! Last update was 6/24 when it went into production. I did talk to the sales manger at the dealership today and he seemed to think MAP was only shut down for 2 weeks. Hopefully he’s correct!

Two week shutdown and one week of retooling for the 2023 Ford Ranger that launches next year. So he is correct that it is only a two week shutdown, but they won't be building Broncos that third week.

I did hear that they will be trying to clear Broncos off of the holding lots while they retool, so if it happens to be on the holding lots it may get released.

Well, that wasn’t what I wanted to hear. Doubt if it’s made it outside of the plant with a 7/1 blend date. So frustrating!

My blend was 6/6 and status still says “in production”. I’ve been told via Ford chat everything from “it’s been shipped” to “waiting on a microchip” (last Friday). I also had a long road-trip planned for 7/29. Looks like we’re taking my wife’s car!
