What’s the advantage going with the HOSS 3.0 ?

I haven’t been able to confirm it but it looks like 3.0 Hoss might be rebuildable. The Sas shocks are not.
Other than better tires shocks are one of the best traction upgrades you can get plus straight up comfort!

to build the kit would cost you at least 2 times what the package costs

Does it increase the strength of the front end suspension?

Suspension is upgraded, steering upgraded, and adds a rear sway bar.

I got my Bronco and am feeling quilt about it (NOT), and if the Hoss upgrade had been available I would of ordered it. Not that I am disappointed with the current build, I will absolutely be paying the money to do a suspension upgrade before long. The shocks alone will make a great ride better.

Trying to navigate all the HOSS 3.0 posts. I know what you get with it. Is there any restrictions on the build. For example is there aa specific bumper that you have to have with the HOSS 3.0 or anything else in the build list. Will selecting the HOSS 3.0 when its available require any specific features.

There's a lot of info out there, but it's definitely worth it... it addresses a lot of concerns/issues that some have had with offroading relative to the steering components (upgrades those), adds better shocks, beefs up the inner and outer tie rods, and adds rear stabilization. The standard 'capable' bumper also adds fog lights, so you don't have to add them or use an AUX switch and the wiring is there should you ever swap bumpers.

@Triston22 -- the HOSS package ADDS the 'capable' bumper, which is an upgrade from the STANDARD bumper. If you want the MOD bumper, you still have to pay the $850 upgrade for it. Beyond that, there are no restrictions other than you have to have a Wildtrak.

Thank you. That clears up my bumper question. I was more curious if you were stuck with a specific bumper but being able to still keep the MOD bumper and get the HOSS 3.0 makes me happy.

Yes, as stated on the B&P you get the capable bumper

The HOSS 3.0 Isn’t on the Canadian B&P site yet. But my question was do you have to take the capable bumper or can you still spec the MOD bumper. It was answered above that you caan still upgrade for extra charge of course to the MOD bumper. Which is what I want.

It's a full package, so yes you get the capable bumper.

And Im not sure how to word the question so you get it. I know its a package deal. But as stated above by @SuperMike you can pay extra and get the MOD bumper added to your build. Which im guessing would drop the Capable off of the package in place of the MOD for a extra charge.

Unless BP changed it dropped the HOSS when you add back the MOD so, unless that was a change this week it wasn't possible on the BP. But if they are charging you full price for the HOSS and the MOD then more power to FMC and guess that person that pays for it LOL

and WTH couldn't you get it in CA for?? weird can you get everything else so far??

The HOSS isn't available on the Canadian Ford.ca site yet so its not buildable here at the moment.

I just went the the US ford.com site and I was able to build it with the HOSS 3.0 and the MOD bumper it didn't drop either off. So yes you can have the HOSS 3.0 and the MOD bumper according to the B&P in the US. Im sure it will be on our site up here shortly.

Also checked with my dealer and they have it available now on there dealership build portal.

Just spoke with my dealer and it is available here just not on the website yet. He said the website updates are always a week or two behind here.
