Uhh....I could be wrong but when I look at that link it's for CROSSBARS and not the actual roof racks.
You can't reason someone out of a position that they didn't reason themselves into.

It actualy has no cross bars, the "Cross bars" they mean are the side bars and rear. Same company sells cross bars, but I an going to put a basket up there anyway, so I dont want crossbars

They look very similar to the OEM design--may even be the OEM design. But they say the same kit works on both 2-door and 4-door. Yet Ford has two separate part numbers for 2-door and 4-door. So... that's interesting.

Anyway, Broaddict seems to be owned by a company called Oriclambo, which is based China. So I bet you they are either buying B-stock from the same company that manufacturers the roof racks for Ford, or they got an "in" at the factory and there is some under-the-table dealing happening.

Could be, but when I contacted Ford, they wanted 650 for each side rail!

I told the parts guy that when you click the option for the roof rack online when ordering the Bronco, it only adds $350 to your total order. To which he reponded, "Yeah, well that's why it's best to order the things you want when building the truck! " I didn't even get into it.

The really sad thing is that it is all cheap crap tin metal, even the factory one. They are just hollow, extruded, powder coated aluminum window frames. In five or seven years they will be on Craigslist for 75 bucks, laying around in some guys' barn; but for now, they have you.

Another really, really funny one is the dual exhaust set up they are trying to get a 1000 bucks for.
If you look online, the Wrangler muffler set up, dual exhaust, in stainless, same exact set up as a Bronco, in fact, I think, borrowed directly from the Wrangler, like so many things on the rear of the Broncos, go as cheap as 185 bucks, delivered!

People are just gouging b/c it is all new stuff. But seriously, look them over, the rear of a Bronco is so damn close to a Wrangler in so many ways. I really believe Ford fetched one and threw it in the shop to sketch off of it when building. They really borrowed quite a bit from the entire rear from the shape of plastic bumper, tow hooks, general styling, muffler and hanging system, and even damn tail lights. I can't say how many times my son and I have mistaken a Wrangler from the rear for a Bronco in traffic.

I know it is a crappy pic and I should and will have a clear pic once I pull it out of the garage tomorrow b/c I want to rub the frame down with some pure lanolin I bought by the pound off of Sleabay (15 bucks for a pure pound of lamb fat).

Anyway, the rack came in two days (with the holiday included)! Packaged very well and they even gave all the wrenches and a few extra bolts. It was a bit of a PITA to install as aligning the many holes up alone on the truck made for a tricky deal, but, all in all, I am extremely happy for my 251$ roof rack! Now I need to reattach my light bar in the front!

Score!
