BLEND DAY. It’s when the body meets the chassis, and a BRONCO is born. Hundreds of people have built thousands of parts, all for the manufacture of this incredibly capable off-road vehicle. It’s a remarkable achievement if you stop to think about it. Yet mine is just one of many. Is anyone here celebrating their Bronco’s birth this week?

I hope people still waiting for their Broncos to get built have theirs scheduled for production soon! I whipped up this silly graphic as a lighthearted way of summarizing my own experience. I only wish getting a Bronco were as simple as pushing a button!

Thanks for the earworm, @Calgecko! By the way, I love the soundtrack you chose for your SoCal video. Was that AUDIOSLAVE? Can't mistake Chris Cornell.
Thanks! Yup Audioslave was the first song and Rival Sons was the second 🤘🏻

Thanks, @Calgecko, @Scott40h, and @Laura! I'm pretty stoked. I could handle the wait, but I was more relieved that my Bronco hadn't joined other wayward ponies in the "Ice Mountain" corral! Pretty cool knowing every second it inches a little closer to me. Well, between stops. :geek:

good timing too - gas prices are finally coming down - I paid just $3.65/gallon yesterday for 87 octane - makes me wanna just go out and drive with no destination in mind!

NICE!! Maybe mine’s on the same boat! Lol

Actually, when i finally placed my order (10/10/22) I fully expected a one year wait at least. The speed with which this has come together is mind-boggling. My sales guy said it was because my reservation date was so early… (7/20)…. Don’t really care about the why, just very excited this is about to happen!!!

We may be on the same train. You'll probably get the official email tomorrow. I think the tracker is a little ahead of the email.

I contacted Ford via live chat tonight and they could not give me the rail car number but said it should be made available soon. I doubt I'll check the status more than once a day once I do learn the rail car number. I mean, they can only go so far in a day, right? 🚂

That’s true… I followed the first car I ever ordered, a 2001 PT Cruiser, as it made its way from Mexico by rail.

I will keep you looped in to anything I learn.

Yeah the first few days might be spent moving around the Chicago area going less than 10 miles a day. But after that it will travel 100s of miles in a day. Well if it is anything like mine.

Yeah, I've heard something similar to that. Thanks for verifying, @Jakob1972! I think there's a current crop of Bronco Nation members who are feeling like expectant parents. Gives a whole new meaning to "baby tracker!" 😆

Yeah, I'm hearing more of this, @sambarner. There is a lag in getting the emails out. I guess they don't release them until they're absolutely sure the carrier has assumed custody of the vehicles. Can't say I blame them, but nowadays, we're so accustomed to knowing everything right now. LOL I'm guilty of wanting to know everything right away, but I shouldn't be. Some things will sit in my email inbox for a couple of hours before I see them!
