This is my 1st Bronco & wanted to confirm. While actively driving in Normal mode - can I switch to Slippery mode (4A)? Or do I need to shift into Neutral or stop before switching between those two modes?
Thanks!

Thanks for this!

Two questions:

1. Where did you score this chart?

2. What does “Trans.” hard/soft/normal mean? And would this apply to a manual transmission?

I do not know where he found the "score card but... the Trans hard/soft/normal will not apply to the manual. It is adjusting how hard the automatic is shifting between gears. Clutch engagement times....

So if I manually engage 4L and my lockers on my BB SAS, will the computer automatically change the throttle, steering, and transmission to the same settings as Rock GOAT mode?

No... that is what makes the Goat mode different. It actually makes small seemingly little changes that you could not change on your own. Add up those little insignificant changes actually help. A lot of us old timers don't want to accept that and stick to our old ways.... but yea, that is where the goat modes actually make a difference.

So the best I could do to mimic Rock mode, without getting into Forscan, would be to use goat mode for eco or slippery then engage 4L and lockers and turn off traction control.

The throttle sensitivity is the most important item in rock crawling. The other 2 settings for the steering and trans are not nearly as important.
