From Production/built status to Delivery status

My bronco raptor has been built since February 17, completed. It is still sitting in Wayne, Michigan waiting shipping. My tracker is still stuck on " in production". I've called Ford performance and they informed me that the bronco was built on February 17 and it was still waiting " inspection", really 3 weeks to inspect a vehicle ? No wonder ford has efficiently/quality issues. The gentleman at Ford Performance did inform me that my bronco was not being held up for any missing chips or options, and the Vin. did not show up on a " do not drive list". It says delivery march 9- march 15, that obviously is not going to happen.

Just curious how long it takes after it is built to be shipped and why Ford does not notify the customer or the dealership of the delay.

I got an email on 3/5/23 that production of mine (4 door Badlands with hardtop and Lux package) was complete. The email said the estimated delivery window was between 3/13 and 3/19. I got an email on 3/6 that mine had shipped, with the same estimated delivery window. So, that is my built / shipped experience. Hopefully I won't have info to share on any delay.

Mine was built on 1/18 shipped on 1/23 and I took delivery on 1/27.

Mine took 2 months from Built to keys in my hand. Many are in the same boat. Especially shipping by rail. I checked the tracker way too many times. Once it shipped it was 3 weeks to get to AZ.

Also keep in mind the Braptor is built but not completed. They have to add all the Raptor extras on at a separate assembly location. It took my Everglades about a month to get the winch roof rack and stuff added before it was “completed”
Then another month to ship.

BN 1100, Desert Sand Everglades. Reservation 7/30/20. ordered 1/22/21, reordered 10/15/21 dropped tow and hard top, reordered 3/9/22 changed to Everglades. production date 9/7/22 rescheduled 9/14/22 completed 9/26/22, shipped 10/7/22, arrived 10/31/22, delivered 11/03/22
