Ford created a one-of-a-kind Bronco Wildtrak to ride in the Pride parade in Memphis, Tennessee on Saturday, June 4, 2022 and then in the Pride parade in Detroit the following weekend.

I’m not sure if that is intended as a political statement or just support for the gay community (either of which is fine by me)……but congress needs to convene ASAP and pass a law that would prevent this type of Bronco desecration in the future. That is an abomination against all that is holy and sacred with the beloved Bronco and should be a crime.

For showing a special Ford build? I would say no. Not sure why you would consider it political. It's everyone's right to like or dislike the paint scheme or what the build stands for, but there is nothing wrong with posting the article.

LGBTQ+ lives are human lives, and Pride is not a political statement, but a reclamation and affirmation of queer lives and rights.

Do I love how companies use pride month purely for marketing, no. But, at the end of the day, it does shine a light on a larger topic. Pride isn't just a month - it's a movement and a celebration as much as it is a look back at times when gay lives were persecuted, and in many places still are.

Trust me - there are far more political things than a glittery Bronco.

and clearly, a lot of people didn't read the article about how this started last year with the Raptor - someone making a derogatory comment about the specific color of blue that was on the Raptor - so Ford decided to shut the troll down by doing the Raptor in gold glitter and rainbow - and this year, kept with the theme. This is a bold move on their part, and one that I applaud. They could be alienating some of their more 'backwards' customers by taking this stance, and they're ok with that... good for them.
