I’d like to know where these supply chain issues supposedly exist. Jeep has already started cranking out 2024 392s and several customers have had their orders go into production after 1-2 months. Either Ford management is really poorly managing their supply chain, or they’re outright lying about it. Very few businesses I know are still using this excuse.

Is Ford also going to blame the supply chain for the lack of software updates and bug fixes in my Bronco for months? I still can’t change the radio station half the time from the steering wheel.

Hah - I had to laugh when I read my email last night. My Badlands SAS order (suffering from SUPER DUPER supply chain issues) is obviously VERY special indeed. It must be even more special than the dozen or so identical Badlands I’ve seen sitting on local dealer lots at $15k more in “Market Adjusted Pricing.”

Approaching two years for my build (others waited longer I know) but it’s frustrating that the best Ford can do is send me a generic email after months of silence and commit to sending me another email every 45 days. 😡

This is very interesting we are almost 4 years into this whole thing and this is the first time I have heard Ford giving an update schedule seems weird 45 days why not monthly. So thankful the wait is over for me. Good luck to all still waiting.

45 days is perfectly inline with how their user interfaces work.

I don’t understand how some people end up waiting for so long and some people wait a relatively short period of time…. I ordered a OB Sas MIC MOD Lux in Oct 22 and had it by mid January 23 (I did have an unused reservation from 7/20). Something is screwy with Ford or dealers when there is such a discrepancy between experiences. On one hand Ford seems to want to move toward a Tesla sales model, but then they seem to hold back those who order and wait, and wait, and wait…

My guess is its a little more complex than that, though it sure feels poorly.

Certainly not a problem that more money couldn’t solve. 4 years into this and it’s evident they are piss poor planners and just didn’t want to spend the money.

Got the same email last night as well.

My favorite part was at the end of the email and I quote, " So, we commit to updating you as soon as we can, at least once every 45 days regarding your vehicle’s production schedule status. No matter what."

That means, 'We aint' building yours".

Oh well, guess I'm stuck with my 22 Wildtrak a bit longer.

Kinda hard to come up with more money when Ford has sunk 4 billion into EVs.

One wonders if Ford had spent a little less on Ems and more on Broncos and Rangers if the stock price would have gone up over the last year. Stockholders would sure like to know.

so other car companies are not complaining as much as ford is so I am guessing ford is still using supply constraints as an excuse to increase prices

This is not getting any better anytime soon. If you are just sitting, waiting for you order, I'd suggest looking into other similar vehicles. I'll bet most of these orders won't be produced until 24/25.

Yeah - I got that email too. I am glad Ford has committed to consistent communication.

I have a couple of other vehicles on order too (Hummer & Rivian) and haven’t heard squat from either manufacturer. While I agree Ford could have done a better job communicating at least they acknowledged their shortcomings and are striving for improvement…

I used to get Ford email updates, then they stopped. No idea why.
