Greg L, thank you! I just picked up my Black Diamond from McCarthy Ford (Chicago) yesterday, and am blown away! I will definitely be purchasing a tool kit! What info can you give about the Super Duty kit? I have a 2008 F450 and can see picking up a kit for it as well.

Yup, just got the same email. What a joke. I called to ask why my order was canceled. The nice lady at the help line said [paraphrase], "The warehouse/manufacturer canceled the order because they could not ship it in the time they expected to and did not want to keep customers on back order waiting too long for their order."

I'd just love to know the truth about what really happened. Sounds like Motley wants to sell the product direct rather than fulfill Ford Accessories.com orders.

I'm about to cancel my order. The site shows them back in stock but mine is still a backorder. Probably because I'm using all my points and just have to pay for shipping.

I too have had this thought. I think Ford is playing games with those of us that used points. Jokes on them ARB air compressor is on the way now!

I cancelled mine to order from Montley, but it never got cancelled by Ford until I cancelled. My understanding is if you ordered when "in stock" we were just left in an eternal holding pattern. After the first couple weeks they still accepted orders as "on backorder" and those orders were dropped by Ford. Honestly unless wanting to use Ford Pass points I would highly recommend MotleyInd directly. They are super responsive, very helpful and actually ship, quite promptly actually. Plus they have a discount code that is the same as Ford discount code so it's a win win.

Part of me wants them to make a Mustang or Shelby kit, but part of doesn’t want more things that I must desperately have.

I think it quite clear Motley does not want to sell the tool roll through FoMoCo and wants to sell it at a higher revenue value via direct sales.

I don’t even want to say how many shirts and hats I just ordered. Oh and new stickers also!🤣

It’s the gigo principle at work…

These systems have all become so complex, and a single check box marked (or not) deep in the settings sends the whole system into a nose dive…

Keep in mind, the programmers of these systems do their coding while taking a break from playing CoD and dreaming of who they’re taking to the high school prom…

Sorry :-( I would like to think that it's not your place in line I stole but... I can't prove that.
I hope? you picked yours up via Motley at least and got it 10x faster. I had points to use so stayed the lazy course.
