Anyone else see that ford has one out? price tag is pretty steep. Im thinking of buying it with my points I pretty much will get it for free just need to pay shipping.

I haven't checked recently, it probably did jump since it is becoming more popular, lol.

Yeah, by a bunch from what I paid. It must have been on sale at the time since I bought it right around KOH or something, but I paid over $100 less than the current price on their website.

I was planning on getting the KOH kit, but I guess I'll wait till Ford has the Motley kit in stock so I can use the Ford Pass Reward points.

Ford’s site has gone from “2 weeks” to “back order with no ETA” to “Sold Out”…. it seems Motley has been trying to get them back into the Ford Store but there’s a disconnect somewhere… Motley does have them in stock.

It may come to that, but this was the only item at Ford Accessories I found that I wanted to spend my reward points on. Hopefully, the out of stock is only temporary.

So, are we of the understanding that Motley Industries creates (i.e. acquires and assembles the tools into the roll) for the Bronco Tool Kit, then distributes them for Ford when the tools are ordered from Ford. And Motley also sells the Bronco Tool Kit directly to customers as well?

Further, Ford site orders are on back-order but Motley direct sales are not on back order? The delay for Ford orders are an IT problem?

Flashback to 2021 supply chain foofs. Lol.

That would be a fair guess. I can't speak to it but that seems to be the situation.

Jumped on the bandwagon and placed my order on Motley, as well. I’ll just have a 2nd smaller roll for the other tools to add to the kit.

And just as @Bluestreak57 mentioned, Greg was really prompt on responding to emails.

Got mine last week and shot a video on it yesterday—~~will post it soon~~ EDIT: now posted

They're decent tools. Definitely not Snap-On, Matco, or even Gearwrench quality—not that I would expect them to be. I would say probably slightly worse than my Sears-era Craftsman tools overall. And probably about on-par—maybe slightly better—with Husky or Kobalt tools I've used in the past.

Honestly it's somewhat difficult to rate as it depends which tool in the kit you are looking at. The sockets, for example, are probably above average but some of the other tools are "meh" at best. Either way... definitely better than the value/bargain brands and given the price point and the fact they're licensed/branded... quality is perfectly acceptable.

It's missing some stuff, but most of the missing pieces are easy to add. I think the biggest disappointment is just the lack of Torx Plus sizes that you'd use on the Bronco, just because decent Torx Plus tools are hard to find already. But overall... it makes a really solid starting point for a Bronco tool roll.

I mentioned this in the video... but I do really like the kit overall, and if the missing Torx Plus sizes get added I definitely think it would be THE go-to tool kit for the Bronco, and all that most owners would ever need. It already is a really solid kit, just a bit frustrating that it doesn't have the Torx Plus sizes.

Honestly I think even a standalone Torx Plus set would do well... because the existing Torx Plus tools on the market are either incredibly expensive (like Snap-On levels expensive) or are dirt cheap and don't hold up well (like my current Amazon-special kit). Just food for thought for the Motley guys... Greg and @EriktheCabonizedGray

I'm curious if your order status changed from backordered to shipped or did it just show up? I noticed mine still shows backordered but Monday it updated to outside of the return window and the payment wasn't actually charged until Monday despite ordering it over a month ago.
