Thanks for the pic! That is what I have ordered. I thought Area51 looked alright, but it was too muddy and flat for my taste. The metallic in this looks like it will add some nice dimension. I may see mine in two weeks or so. I'll have to check in on that Other Forum.

See I'm a fan of the"muddy" non metallic look. More fitting for an off-road vehicle IMO. But everyone has different tastes.

Yeah, changing the color for the Heritage Edition on order. Way less gray than I'd hoped.

I agree. I would have thought it was Area 51 if you didn't tell me it was Azure Gray. It looks very blue to me, at least in that lighting. So long as the owner is happy, right?

EDIT: Found this comparison between Area 51 and Azure Gray in that thread. The Azure Gray is metallic. I like it.

Just saw a member of B6G took delivery of a 2023 Azure Gray Bronco.

Personally I'd be a little miffed paying a premium for that color and have it pretty much look like Area 51

Curious to see it in full sunlight. To see how the metallic affects the color. I am guessing maybe a slight purple hue as opposed to the blue hue on A51. Gonna be beautiful!

It is definitely a little bit darker than A51, but super close. Especially on a cloudy day

Another boring Ford 2023 Bronco color.

AG, A51 and EG all change colors depending on the lighting more than other colors in my opinion. If the new owner is happy with it. I'm happy for him or her. I'm not a fan of A51 or AG ... atleast we have color options. But if we all had the same color, it would be the early 1900s and Henry Ford would be in charge...

I was going to say, why did you send me pics of Area 51? Not a fan of the color.

Still don’t understand why they would have both A51 and Azure Gray. They did the same thing with Rapid Red / Race Red on the 2021MY, and I didn’t understand it back the either. In this case it’s almost worse though since there is an up-charge attached to Azure Gray.

But, ignoring that whole thing... it works pretty well with the dark gray color of the MIC grille/fenders/etc. Don’t think it would look good with black painted components they have on the Outer Banks and Wildtrak though.

Overall I’d have to see one in person and in sunlight, but initial reaction is, “It’s good, just not $1000-upcharge good.”

Bigger picture.
They are already delivering MY23 when there are still MY22 in production?

BTW- I see the AG as a more purple tint than the A51 but I am RG color blind so...
