I ordered my bronco with the 2.3 liter engine to save a few bucks, but now I am regretting it. Can I edit my order and change the engine? Do I contact my dealer or Ford? How does this affect my build date?

You can change your order all the way up till its scheduled to be built. Call your dealership and ask them to change it. It wont change your build date at all.

@SlashRacer is correct you can change any feature you want on your build by contacting your dealership. The only difference though is changing to the 2.7L can delay your build date as it is on the list of delayed configurations due to constraints.

Yep, call your dealer to change anything. I just took off the side steps as Ill wait and go AM on these. The 2.7 per my dealer wont delay as most are picking that now over the 2.3. Hope that's true there.

It certainly can affect your build date. There is no way to know that going in/up front though. Vehicles will be built based on part availability. It may move up your build date, or it may delay your build date, or it may have no impact whatsoever.

You can change what you want anytime before your build is scheduled.
Everything effects the build date. Some stuff we know is late availability. Other things will likely come up and delays will happen. Every item we choose to add or delete will effect the build. Only Ford knows how it will all shake out.
The one thing I've come to accept is that timing is irrelevant. Just build what you want, what makes you happy and you can afford. An extra month, two, three or more. Who cares. None of us will remember the wait when we're flying down trails, through streams and over mountains.
