Dear Ford,
I'm wanting to Thank you for your effort to create a historic moment in these unpredictable times with the Rollout of an reimagined Icon. The people I've met and cohesion I've witnessed since embarking on the adventure of creating my own version of history, has been all part of the experience.
The highs and lows were facing these days only add to another element to the nature of what the Ford Bronco is designed to do. That Nature is to tackle any hurdles it encounters. Be it a trail, rocks, or sandy dune, I feel that waiting for the hurdles of the supply chain only add to another accomplishment for the Bronco.
So, please, take the time and do what you need to so when I'm on side of the mountain far from help and witnessing stunning views. I wont have to worry that my vehicle will fail due to a rushed production. I'm waiting patiently for the opportunity to finally build my forever all terrain go anywhere vehicle. In the meantime, My wife will be getting a 2021 Bronco sport Badlands to play with.

Thank You.

I agree with you said. There are uncontrollable issues that happen. Delay due to Covid, parts shortages, even the damn coffee pot stopped working for the third time last Friday. BUT we deserve to know what the issues are and what they plan on doing to resolve them.

If someone is building your house and they don't show up for 4 months with no communication on what is going on? You would think I was just forgotten about and will have to figure something else out. Then come to find out through an email saying.

Hey,

We can't build your house yet because stuff happened.

Oh we can't find the kitchen cabinet handles you want either.

We will send you an email for when we can start at a later date.

Sincerely,

The Entire Florida Construction Community

Not trying to be an A-hole, It's just if I am spending hard earn money on the Bronco, at least keep the customers in the loop instead of the dark. Communication is key to making the customers feel important.

I understand your feelings. However, I came to the realization. Getting angry and making personal demands on Ford, just for the one/two vehicles I plan to purchase out of the millions wordwide, is like getting mad at walmart because you cant get a certain candy bar.
I will be happy to wait for quality. Ford put alot of effort and money into this. Its going to happen so I can wait.

Sorry if you interpreted my comment as an attack on you. It was not meant for anything other than my own revelation regarding my frustration twards the situation. Again, I do understand your feelings. I did also recieve an email stating there will be a longer delay and I would be notified when they had something definite to tell me.

I appreciated your original post as everything has been so negative lately and it is refreshing to see positive posts. I get some people are mad and frustrated as well as I am but I try not to let my frustrations become common place in a community that is here for support and sharing of news, events, and life stories.

You shouldn’t have to be afraid of looking like an “ A-hole “ just because you are voicing your opinion.

Seems everything is being blamed on the pandemic. It’s the universal excuse for everything.

I’m thinking that the “ lean manufacturing “ system has more to do with the actual problem. Nobody wants inventory of any kind hanging around that they may have to pay taxes on.

I’m much more tired of hearing about how Covid is why things are screwed up than I am waiting for my Bronco. They’ve had years to get ready for the first rollout of the Bronco.

My bottom line to this whole thing starts and stops at the top CEOs desk. I was somewhat put off by my email being signed the way it was. These part shortages aren’t because of the entire Bronco team.

I’m thinking Ford will have a new top dog in the near future. People have sat and watched their F150s sit in a parking lot for months.

Well as I guessing you know, timing is everything. Expecting that every part manufacturers premake every part before the product testing is finished is presumptuous. I find the lack of motivation to get back to work so companies can get back to bieng productive disheartening. The longer it persists, the worse its going to get.
Moving forward, monday morning quarterbacking is not productive either. My point was that I personally want the vehicle They advertisdd and understand the challenges involved. I dont need a letter from the CEO. Theres a team of people assigned to this project and thier responsible for the communication and delays.

You don't pay tax on finished goods, only raw material. (depending on state)

No.... Ford, DON'T take your time. Take absolute control of this situation, and fix it. Build a chip factory, or buy a chip factory, I don't care what you do, just do something except keep waiting and delaying. Buy the webestos factory and build your own hard tops. Take control of your destiny and don't allow outside forces to dictate your operations. Plan better for the future, work with multiple parts manufacturers, and always have a backup plan.
