I played hooky from work yesterday and enjoyed the 2022 Seattle International Auto Show. What a GREAT day! I got to check out a Badlands Bronco and even better, a new Bronco Raptor in stunning Eruption Green. What amazing machines they are. I cannot wait for my own Bronco to arrive!

I encourage everyone to attend their local auto show. It's a great opportunity to get up close and personal with vehicles that interest you with little or no pressure to purchase.

Another Seattle-ite here, anticipating delivery in Jan/Feb (Cactus 4dr, BL, SAS, MIC, High, Tow). I've seen enough around town now and up the passes that I'm wondering if there's a Seattle area Bronco club or any plans for a local rally? I haven't dug around much, but anyone have info/links on such groups that you can share?

I’m not on Facebook, but if you are, there’s a group called PNW BRONCOS that boasts a burgeoning membership. It should be a good place to start. There’s also a group called AVANTS that consists of an eclectic group of automotive enthusiasts. Both are worthy of exploring.

Only about 40mph. But it's not how fast I went. It's how quickly I got to 40mph. ;)

I'm trying to upload a video but it's taking forever to download. In the meantime, here's a pic of the tail end of the Raptor I drove:

What I found surprising was with all its heft, the Raptor launched and got up to speed in no time at all. Very exhilarating driving. The shoulders are wide, but I never felt like it was cumbersome on the road. In fact, it felt surprisingly nimble. Only a couple of turns of the wheel and I was oriented in a completely different direction. Effortlessly. It's as if the Raptor was unaware of how heavy it was. It's the perfect balance of power
At about $125k.... do you think it's that much faster than a 2.7 Badlnds...😉
If so, we need to talk...🤣😂

Just so everyone knows... I'm being a bit facetious ..😉🤣😂

Okay folks, I’m officially in love with the Raptor. I took one out for a quick spin and it’s incredible. No off-roading involved, but brother this thing hauls ass! And that GROWL! It’s intoxicating. Great acceleration from a dead stop. Commanding view. Great steering wheel feedback. Tried sport mode and loved it. Sadly, my Badlands won’t have that particular GOAT mode. Still, stoked to be getting my own Bronco… 🤓

FORScan adds sport mode. I only drive in sport mode, as normal is boring and I'm planning on deleting Eco

Congrats! That's a stunning Bronco!

Thanks? I just took a test drive. I didn’t take it home with me! (I wish) It was a fun experience, but anyone with a driver’s license and a pulse was able to take one out for a spin. @Mikes2021Bronco: I knew you were joking. It was a pretty invigorating drive. I only wish I could get some of the interior appointments I saw in the Raptor; that wrapped dashboard and the cool instrument display were pretty sharp! The Devil is in the details.

Dropped by on Friday with my son and test drove the Raptor too and wow am I in love with this vehicle. Had a good chat with Mike while on the drive about the car, Bronco Nation and me growing up driving 4x4's in Iceland.

I have seen reviews on how good this truck drives but experiencing it in person is something else, the sound, response and handling is something new for a car this size.

Expecting to get my Raptor delivered in January and at this point I am counting the hours.

The Raptor does not disappoint. A very capable on-road AND off-road warrior.
