I finally finished off the installation of my Engineered Off-Road Systems Potable Water System (aka PWS).

This allows me to carry 8 gallons of fresh potable water for camping, cooking, drinking, pets, cleaning, etc. It isn't just a water tank, but a highly integrated system that installs with ZERO loss of ground clearance and ZERO loss of interior space. It has a beautiful black anodized aluminum control panel on the swing gate with an illuminated power switch and illuminated level gauge. It uses a single low profile, quarter turn locking stainless steel spigot for both filling (via a garden hose) and dispensing. It is pressurized by a very small RV water pump.

No more sliding and spilling containers in my rig. No more buying water jugs for camping. No janky pressurized containers on a roof rack or in the cargo area.

The fit, finish and materials on this system are truly fantastic. It was made in the US and has a great warranty.

Pricey, but the quality, durability and convenience make it a great value IMHO.PXL_20250803_041241073-1.jpgtank.jpgPXL_20250720_195915518.jpgadmin-ajax.pngPXL_20250912_171415949_exported_165332.jpgPXL_20250911_00310125612.jpgPWS.jpg

This is nice work.

Any chance you are going to sell the trim piece replacement separately? I have broken like two of them and would really like to accommodate some wires and lines but not have to notch the plastic to make it work.

Nice, I was afraid the tank sat in the tailgate somehow, just seems like that would be a lot of extra weight on the tailgate. Since it is exterior mounted is there a heater to keep it from freezing? or is this just a warm weather product?

The control panel or hose/wire cover? Sounds like the latter. If the latter DM me, can accommodate. The former will always have multiple holes and wouldn't be good for custom uses.

The tank, as per the pictures,
is under the rear passenger floor and above the beams that reinforce the hitch adapter. There is very little weight added to the swing gate.

There is no heating (nor cooling) for the tank.

Seems like most of the use cases for camping, wheeling and sports/water sports clean up are fair weather ones.

That is a sweet setup! Any chance it will fit a WildTrak? Will you market it at some point?

Thanks. It definitely can. The FAQ on my website covers that. The largest hurdle is that a Raptor style (side running) exhaust is a prerequisite as the tank fits where the factory exhaust is located. We would need to work together to insure one of the side running aftermarket options has suitable clearance, as I do not have any known fits as of today.

Well, its now well beyond custom but fully "productionized". I have kits ready to ship. I get the cost issue. It is an inherently high end system from the ground up and it is particularly high cost since the volumes are very low. Being made in the US and a killer warranty also contribute to the cost.

Anyway, the safety, convenience and time savings are worth it to some and not others. Not different than most products out there.
