For those who have the metal grill badge from Bronco Nation how did you install it? It appears I'll have to remove the grill on my big Bronco badlands to do it easily. Am I missing a trick? TIA

You can pop off those plastic tabs (not sure what they are called). Then lift the top plastic cover out of the way just enough to get your hand in there. Took maybe 10 mins. Just be careful those plastic tabs can fly off and get lost easily.

we applied it with our fingers working through the grill.
howver, we had to take it off to do the oracal letter lights. It wasn’t that difficult.

The grill badge wasn't an option when I became a member, and I don't remember when I actually became a paid member. I want one of the badges, but if it's included in the membership refresh kit I don't want to get 2! I guess I'll wait until my Bronco gets here.

Thanks for asking about this.

I had to remove the top plastic piece and pop the grill off a little bit. It wasn't hard and took me about 20 min. I really like the way it turns out.

Or any pics of the location on the grill? Either Big Bend or Outer Banks.

Yah I did this the same way and did in fact lose the top of one of the clips in the engine bay somewhere

Fingers through the grill. It took some patience, but mission accomplished. IMG-20220527-WA0000~2.jpegIMG-20220509-WA0005.jpg

I battled with this little bit** today. Couldn’t get the nut very tight in the bolt closer to the N, but should hold. Also, be careful, the metal edges of the badge can scratch the grill paint. Got a little mark behind the badge now…BD7EDF6B-746F-4FCE-AD53-B49DEB155D7E.jpeg

What are the 4 nuts for? Seems like you just need two to secure the backing plate.

I also posted on the Sport forum but few on there have installed one.

When you put the bolts in the back of the badge, use the nuts to keep the bolts tightened to back of badge. Basically goes in this order:
Badge-bolt-nut-grill-padded backer-other nut

Bruinsfan, the B's are playing great. Krejci made a big difference coming back, as well as getting a new coach. They have to sign Pasta long term and Ullmark has stepped up his game. Hampus was a nice addition last year. Nobody else probably knows what the hell I am talking about? 😂

Replace the nuts which will rust with stainless steel wing nuts. Easy install even with large hands like mine. No need to remove anything.
