I realize we are suppose to coddle criminals these days but back in my time, this is what you'd see when you acted a fool and we backed the police for keeping law and order.

These days? The person on the receiving end will get millions and the officer will get thrown in the slammer.. 😡

I do not envy anyone in Law Enforcement these days but kudos to them for still trying to do the job..

AMEN again! Back in the day the teacher paddle us (me) with a thick wooden yard stick when we didn’t listen and that $hit hurt. Then when I got home I got it again from my parents cause the school would call home let the parents know I just got spanked! Didn’t take but once (maybe twice) before I learned to behave at school.

This was also how it was for me growing up, although it was my mother who was responsible for the “minor” infractions… 😅

Yep, the reinforcement of the discipline process in the home after being disciplined in school was definitely effective. 😂

My daughter is a teacher and I'm amazed what kids can get away with now. Parents just don't seem to care what their kids do anymore.😕

While not directly life threatening, this appears to be along the same vein as the (indirect) advice to learn the vehicle’s limits after breaking the Bronco’s tie rod? 🤷‍♂️

From what I’m coming to learn, there’s also no one saying “not that line…”

Makes me think our shenanigans also make us likely candidates for the Darwin Awards, when we don’t have our $hit together… 😂

Some of my best and worst dirt bike and snowmobile adventures with my pal Don, AKA Caveman, started with his famous words...."I see the line" and off we we go. Damn the consequences!
The finished with "Whooped them again eh Josey" I still wonder how I've made it this long!😁 😂
