Which mustang is a true Mustang, in your thinking… when I saw the 80’s Mustangs hideous was the word that came to mind….

Not that this is a mustang site or thread, but …

The Fox body had a V-8. The EV thing doesn't. without a V-8 its not a Mustang.
The Fox body cars weren't perfect but were better than the malaise era cars and better than the gen 4 cars.

Ford should have put a different badge on the EV thing ,like Granada or some other name they couldn't damage.

Seems like a Pinto stang would be a better arguing point but NO a 4 door suv EV is not a Mustang.

The Fox body had a V-8. The EV thing doesn't. without a V-8 its not a Mustang.

Would have worked alot better as a Fusion (which Ford's ceasing was yet another cooperate misstep) heck they could have called a cold fusion and played off the alternative power theme. A rally Fusion would have worked too because its predecessor was the Escort and despite our boring Escorts Ford released some pretty cool Escorts ,including Rally cars elsewhere in the world.

See my last post. Fusion is open minded and creative. Whoring the Mustang brand is just a plain lazy attempt at a money grab. Here's the great thing about 'Merica is we don't have to agree we can both be right and both be wrong, but there is a reason that Ford loses it's lunch on each and every one of those monstrosities. I honestly wouldn't hate the thing if it weren't for the blatant ignorance and arrogance of disrespecting the Mustang and it's enthusiasts.

Mustang has been through so many iterations, it’s hard to keep track… at least Ford didn’t discontinue the big boy when introducing its electric sibling…

Ford has lost enough money on the EV fad as it is.No need for EVs there are other options that make more sense.
Right and wrong is black and white, having a choice is right, mandates that shove things you don't want down your throat is wrong.
