Two cars in my life I regret selling (still)
1. A 1970 Bronco (my first car)
- Paid $1,500 (in 1976 with 140,000 miles on it)
- Maybe got 14 mpg if I babied it (302)
- Ran it out of gas a time or two
2. A 2017 Ford Focus Electric
- Paid 12,000 ( had 11,000 miles on it)
- Charging station at home cost me $700, PUD gave me rebate of $500
- Never ran out of power to the point of being stranded… (it’s called planning)

It‘s always humorous to watch those who have never owned an EV poke fun at the technology (and you said I didn’t have a sense of humor)….
KInd of like the people who haunt a car model advocacy site but don‘t (or won’t) own such a car.

EV’s are not for everybody, for sure, but the technology coming out of their development are making huge improvements in all ICE vehicles…

Advocacy? it was described as a buyer assist site so advocacy probably fits, certainly not an enthusiast site.

According to some chicky on a Bronco FB group (I replied to some guy who said he doesn't get it and all I said was that I agree, I don't understand the bathtub toys on the dash) you have to have a personality and humor to understand them, they are fun! I so much wanted to respond that I agree, to have a personality and sense of humor of a 3-year-old might make me understand them, but I passed that a few decades ago.
