Yeah I picked up what you were putting down. Funny though nowadays if they were cheaper I'd love to get a 302 Maverick and turn it into a quarter mile car. I'd even love to have my grandfaters old red comet with matte black hood, but mostly because it was my grandfather's.

Years ago i built a 289 for a 83 ranger… had a guy make me a deal I couldn’t refuse so i sold the engine and C4 to him so he could run it in his maverick 1/4 mile car. I transferred 3 weeks later so i never seen it run. 🐎
