Bronco Heritage Limited 2-Door Questions- Please help with answers

I have some questions that I cannot find an answer to:
1. There are 1,966 of 2-doors and 1,966 of 4-doors over two years (23 and 24). There are two colors for 23 and two or three colors for 24. Does anyone know if the total production will be 1/3 of each color?
2. The picture of the 2-door on build and price shows a porthole over the rear seat. I have not seen anything confirming this, but that is what the picture shows. Does anyone have any information on this? I think it is a great idea.
3. Does anyone have a good guess as to how well these will do? I don't know of any dealers really talking about them. They will be dealer stock and the dealership can sell to whomever for whatever they want. I have heard of one dealer selling theirs for a 70k ADM. I almost think it is a joke, but I have no clue? I love the robins egg blue and the brown leather with a white top, but I just have not heard much talk about it in six months.
4. I heard tonight that they will start building in April, but I have not seen anything about it or anyone listing or talking about them. Any feedback would be great as I am sure they will sell fast, but it is hard to get any real information about these models. Thank you for any and all feedback!

I went to my dealer to try and put in an order on one, knowing that they weren't supposed to go into production until later this year, and willing to wait, but not having a real good sense of the existing production delays on certain current models. Ignorance is bliss. Anyway, they made it sound like getting one would be like winning the lottery, so I changed the order.

FYI, Truecar has two 4 doors listed in Maryland. Not sure how that happened, but whatever.

Thank you for the lead. I went there and put all of my information in and it had a 25K ADM. The Total price was $96,000 and showed a cash price of $103,000. It did however have a Vin listed, so I guess they are getting it soon? Thanks for the lead! I will keep looking.

  1. Ford is building 1966 of each model between 2/4 door Bronco and Bronco Sport. You cannot factory order a Heritage Limited edition, your dealer is allocated one by Ford. Most dealers will be getting only one or two, some may get be getting a couple more depending on their past sales performance.
  2. Yes there is a porthole, that is the modular hard top design that was originally announced back in 2020 but hasn’t actually made it to production yet.
  3. These will be collectors vehicles and finding one remotely close to MSRP will take a fair amount of luck.
  4. The Bronco Sport variants are already in production I believe. The Bronco variants start production in March and should start rolling off the line in April. All of the Heritage Limited Broncos produced this spring are Robin’s Egg Blue (the dealers don’t get to choose).

All-in-all… unless you are real good friends with a dealer or show up with a thick wallet I would not expect to get one. 1966 is an extremely small number of units, and these will be selling for more than the Bronco Raptor.

To put it into context… it is already hard to buy a Bronco today at MSRP and Ford has been producing 2000 to 3000 units a week for most of the past year. 1966 units is only 3-4 days of production for them. They will be rare, and because they are rare, they will be expensive.

Here's more on the Mod top. Rumor has it the production top won't have the removable rear glass, but it wouldn't be a modular top without that for the 4 door then; it'd be a MIC with a different finish IMO.

No! @Laura please say it isn't so! Can we ask Matt about that next time there's a Q&A?
For what it's worth, both the porthole and removable glass are shown in the '23 owner's manual.

Yes, definitely! Last time we asked it was unclear for the Bronco team still; we're about four months past that so they would know by now. But I trust the manual; this was just an internet rumor I read.

Thanks! That puts the production of 1966 in perspective if that is for 2 years and they produce 2000-3000 per week!
