I am about to order a set for my 4-door big bend (over carpet). Can’t find a post where folks who own them compared the brands and quality of fit and materials. I am thinking weathertech, as a few people on the forums said they fit amazing with the laser fit option. A few other people said the ford mats were pretty average, which surprises me given all the effort ford put into designing these beasts. I would think they would be perfect fit and high quality. Husky traditionally has pretty nice mats. Price points seem to be ford at around $160, husky $180 and weathertech at $210. For the small difference in price, price won’t be deciding factor. I welcome any feedback from those who have compared and purchased a set. Thanks.

I have the Ford mats, mostly because I got them free from the dealer, but I also like the bronco emblem on the back row mats as someone else mentioned. I have noticed that the front drivers mat kind of curls in creating a dirt/dust collection point - as previously mentioned (haven't been a passenger yet so I can only assume it's doing the same thing). I've never seen the others so I can't compare to those, but matching them up to the cheap carpeted mats the Bronco came with, these are steps above!

I am running the OEM ones. I appreciated the pricepoint, and the fit is perfect. I run with no doors, and haven't had any issues with them (other than the passenger side waving a little on the highway at speed; but the single click in retainer does seem pretty secure). I do have a 2 door, so my experience is limited to that so apologies for not really being an apples to apples thing here.
I had weathertech on my old Hyundai and I did love them, FWIW. I think they are totally a "you get what you pay for" situation. I had weathertech ones for the Bronco in my cart but then watched some videos on them and they seemed to have a kind of weird fit (like too buckety? Too deep?) so I switched to the ford ones and was surprised that they were actually less expensive and I pulled the trigger.
Hope this helps!

I have the Ford mats in my 2 door. Very poor quality. Not enough coverage at the pedals. Thin material that collapses along the door sill leaving gaps. I expected these to be Ford branded WeatherTech mats. They are not that. Had I known, I would not have optioned them. They will get replaced by WeatherTech.

No kidding! Would you mind posting photos up of what you're seeing? Mine are covering great and I want to know what to look out for. I am definitely not above replacing with Weathertech, but my OEMs seem good (at the moment!)
Cheers

Interesting. I've been running the floor mats and seat protector for almost a year and love them. I haven't used the cubby liner though.
I just installed their floor mats and the rear cargo area mats with rear seat protectors on my 2 door and I think they are perfect.

So far the Ford all weather mats seem to be fine, and fit really well. But, I have only had the Bronco for about a month. I'll let you know how they hold up. Still can't understand why it came with carpeted mats. All our vehicles have WeatherTech, so I have 4 sets of carpeted mats on a shelf in the furnace room.

I bought the weather tech and I am not impressed with the floor coverage in the front. The Ford mats look to cover more floor.

Here are some photos of my Ford OEM driver side front mat. You can see there is not enough coverage at the pedals. Not enough coverage on the transmission well. Not enough coverage along the door sill. The WeatherTech mats that I have seen provide better coverage in all of these locations. The mats that came with my wife's Chevy Equinox provide better coverage as well.
Aside from the fit and coverage, the material is flimsy and doesn't seem like it will hold up over the years. We have real winters where I live. That means snow, and slush mixed with salt falls from my boots and lays in the drivers footwell. That is why I opted for the upgraded floor mats. I am disappointed with Ford's offering.

Mabett has great products as well. Here's a video I did awhile ago demonstrating the floor liners and rear seat protector.
Hope this helps!
I’ll probably order Mabett’s rear seat protectors, but I ordered the all weather mats from Ford. I’ve had Weather Tech before and felt they were very thin. I also have Mabett’s interior dome light and mud flaps. Good quality for the money.

I don't know. I don't see much difference between my wife's Equinox mats and my Bronco mats? Her mats may have a little more coverage around the edges.

Thank you for posting these - yeah that area at entry does look really bad; mine are still flush against the sill but if mine start pulling away like that it's good to know it may be a design flaw.
And I agree - the liner should go all the way up beneath the pedals.

After reading through the extensive comments and individual product reviews I've arrived at the following conclusion: collectively, among manufacturers of floor mats, quality control sucks. It doesn't seem to this reader that any single manufacturer of this product can claim any semblance of superiority because the anecdotal evidence suggests a complete lack of any consistant quality across the board. Individuals that have commented here have found satisfaction but then the very next comment contradicts the previous one. And I don't really sense much in the way of brand loyalty as a bias in these opinions. In other words, your choice and subsequent satisfaction in a floor mat manufacturer amounts to a total crap shoot. Maybe we could get Consumers Reports to do some testing?

I will the next time my floors are dirty. I have not purchased the Ford mats; I see the rise in the sides of the Ford mats that will keep the side of the floor well from getting dirty and dirt building up on the side. The Weathertech mats leave dirt buildup along it's sides and the side of the floor well gets dirty because the mats don't rise high enough to protect it.

Yep, that's exactly why I went with the Husky mats. They cover under the pedals as well as the dead pedal. Also go high enough on the side to cover the carpet. I also like how they cover part of the door sill also. No complaints at all.Husky Liners.jpg

I'll have a decision to make when my Heritage gets here. I have Weathertech in my Forester and they fit well with zero curling. I like them better than any OEM products I've had. They Husky looks pretty comparable though.

I really like my TuxMats.

I will take a photo later when the heavy storms with tornado-force winds die down. (NB: Sulley, the mats will be dirty. Avert thine eyes.)

We've been at the barn most of the week for equestrian practices. Stables are muddy places. You can see how it goes all the way up and under the pedals. It covers the carpet on the sides and all the way up to the door sill. In rear, it also slides under the seats and covers the middle hump thing.
