Badlands VS Wildtrack

I just put my order in for my Badlands and I just noticed the Wildtrack is now available, does anyone know the real difference?

When I put the same exact options in the build on the Wildtrack it’s $3000 cheaper than the Badlands.
The Wildtrack comes with the upgraded 2.7 L engine and comes stock with the Sasquatch package. Wildtrack starts off at $5000 more but after adding all the options on the Badlands is more than the Wildtrack…
Does anyone know or if there is a real difference in suspension or frame design?
Wold love to get some insight.

Wildtrack does not have the sway bar release but does have Baja mode in the GOAT modes. I believe the wild track is more for higher speed desert activities and the others with the sway bar release are more for rock crawling and slower wheeling

Here is a good video regarding GOAT Modes. From my memory the BL with Sasquatch gives you both Rock Crawl and Baja Modes but does not give sport mode. WT gives you Baja and sport but not rock crawl. In addition BL gives full bash plate protection And StaBar disconnect. I hope this helps with your Decision

The different modes are electronically recalibrated. Frame is the same

Here is another difference.

WildTrak has carpet flooring. Badlands has wash down flooring unless you add leather. If you add leather to a badlands, it will have carpet instead of wash down flooring.

Differences have been noted, so basically if you are going to go hardcore off-roading, you would be better off in a Badlands.

BTW you can activate all the modes for either Bronco. So you can have all 8 if you chose to do so.

Mode wise
stock WT get all but RC
stock BL gets all but Sport.

When going through the modes after adding them we noticed some things.
Rock Crawl puts the bronco in 4WL automatically
Baja puts the bronco in 4WH automatically

I think they are having issues with unlocking all 8 modes with MY22’s.

This is spot on. Big plus for Badlands

The Wildtrack has more creature comforts standard and at a better price. If you are using it like 99 percent of the people who are buying a Bronco it's a daily driver with occasional weekend off roading. The question is will you need sway bar disconnect and full skid plates
for what you will be doing off road, if yes then get the Badlands.

Here's something I discovered while playing with the build and price a while ago. If you build a Big Bend with Sasquatch, mid, signature lighting and auxiliary switches you essentially have a Wildtrak for $1600 less. And IMO you have better looking interior.

To answer your question - no there isn't a difference in the frame or sespension if you get the sasquatch package added to the Badlands
compared to the Wildtrack. I've driven both and there the same.

This was the discussion we had. It was cheaper for us to configure the wildtrak than the comparable Badlands. I plan on a different solution for the bash plates so that wasnt an issue. I was concerned about the lack of Sta-bar disconnect, but I drove a Wildtrak at the Off-rodeo and had zero problems. If I need to disconnect it, thats what the socket wrench and zip-ties are for, but I doubt I will have to. I am also one of the weirdos who prefers the Wildtrak interior, and I love the gloss grill. Sure wish it still came with the painted mirror caps and door handles, but its not a big problem. I guess it depends on your use-case, costs, and personal preferences.

Our decision for the Badlands was very similar… Originally wanted the WildTrak, and we knew we wanted the LUX package with the MGV & washout interior for our three dogs… that resulted in the Badlands.

When these three start shedding, the washout interior will be totally worth it for us

You can knit a new dog from how much a Husky, let alone three, can shed in a day. Good Call
