Arrgh! My first ding.

I got one a couple months back on my driver’s side rear door! It could’ve come from a lot of things but I am 95% sure that it came from my kids and a bike. Oh well got the initial pain out of the way.

Yeah... know that feeling. Took a paint chip out of my tailgate week one. Typical.

Which reminds me... need to talk to my dealer's parts department and see if my paint correction pen has arrived.

I feel you, finding it is the painful part, then it kind of gets a little less sad. I found one on my hood after I purchased. It's better when you are in charge of the damage and can own it happening lol.

Here here. I got a dot or two of touch paint, and a spot underneath that i need to hit with undercoat. We're living life!

The instructor at Moab off-rodeo jocularly suggested we all get out first scratches out of the way so we can get over fears. He then offered to scratch our Broncos for us if we wanted. 😂 He was cool.

I got mine on Miller Jeep Trail ... I consider it a battle scar and a badge of honor. Definitely show's she's not a mall crawler.

I know, it sucks to find new damage. But…the way I look at it is that these are BRONCOS, they aren’t afraid to get out there in the wild and dinged up here and there

I don’t have any dings but I got my first rock chip on the lower passenger side door in my first five days. Those Generals spit rocks pretty bad. I added Go Rhino running boards to replace the rock rails and I hear them pinging the boards all the time.

I don’t have mud flaps, but I have the factory running boards. Like you I hear rocks hitting them often, and I’m glad I have them to help prevent from the rocks from hitting the paint

I can’t figure out how I got dinged here. The only thing I can think of is, I was at the Arizona Ragnar trail a couple of weeks ago, and when everyone was packing up, people were slinging popups and tents around, and maybe they hit my tailgate.
It’s very annoying, but I’m probably the only one who will ever notice it.

No paint loss, good thing. Take it to your dealer. They have the guys with the sucker machines that will pop that dent out and you will hardly see it.

I haven’t had any paint damage yet that I know of but three days into owning, I snapped off the loop to open the cubbie in the backend…went to something in the cubbie and pulled the strap and it came right out in my hand! That’s some strong Velcro holding that cover closed!

I am scheduled for PPF install on the 28th. I will have to tread lightly until then

A neighbor put a 12" scratch in the passenger front door after 3 days of my ownership...I saw him carrying a bundle of branches from a bush that borders my driveway and he turned and looked at the door like "crap"...he didn't have the courtesy of saying "sorry". However, I did learn a new skill and am now able to cut and polish out scratches. Was a very rewarding experience...even buffed my roomates Escape.

Just call it a battle scar (more like battle boo boo haha) everyday for about a week and then you won't care anymore but if so, buy a cool sticker to put over it

Enjoy the dings! I asked my friend who just got a new Jeep a few months ago if he would like to go on some trails whenever I get my Bronco. His reply, "I'm not about to take a vehicle this expensive out to get scratched up."

I have a personal philosophy on that: It may be expensive, but if you buy it and don't use it, well then, it's really, really expensive.

got the feels for ya. GF put not just the first scratch (across the door sill plate), not just the second (ding on the jamb), but the third on the door edge of my 2020 roadster. So at least be grateful to the anonymity of the ding offender. you could get a mini version of this to cover up the infraction?
