Are your door hinges painted?

Hi all,
I have had my doors off a few times now, and my door hinges are not fully painted. This seems strange as the Bronco is designed to have the doors off, and yet it gives my Bronco an unfinished look to it.
My question to all of you, is this how your door hinges look?
Let me know, and if mine are not like the majority, i.e., painted I will be going to visit my dearler and get them to paint them.
Thanks for your insights!

I have the same color and the had the same problem. My dealer was appalled that Ford let that go out of the factory. They repainted the four hinges under warranty and gave me a loaner vehicle. The door itself was also unpainted where it attaches and they fixed that as well. Good luck!

Update for all you doubting Thomas's,
I went into my dealership yesterday and showed them the hinges. They quickly agreed that the hinges should have been painted and that they will paint them under warranty.
They will advise me of a date, and supply a loaner vehicle to cover the time the truck is in the shop.
This response is as I expected, and take that all those that stated I should paint it myself!

OCD... (no flame meant).

Just go to Autozone and get a can of color-match auto paint. Tape off the areas you don't want overspray to hit and take care of it yourself. I think the dealership folks will laugh at you (behind your back) - if that matters to you.

Hey Eninty,
You will certainly be surprised by my dealers response. First off, they did not laugh, they were surprised and quickly agreed that this was indeed a warranty issue. They are going to not only repaint the hinges, but also the inside of both the front fenders closest to the hinges as they are also not painted.
They will provide me with a date, I will drop the Bronco off, and they will be providing me with a loaner vehicle during the time is in my shop.
I must admit that I was not surprised by their response, but happy that I did not follow yours, lol...

Great news; glad it worked out for you. If you were confident your dealer would cover it under warranty and you thought the paint application was substandard, why didn't you just go pursue a fix with your dealer? I'm not sure why you needed validation from any of us.

My reason for posting about this issue was to see if it was a common problem that other Bronco owners may have run into.
One of the many beauty's of this forum is that it allows you to reach out to others and verify a problem. In my case, it allowed me to ascertain that the majority of Bronco owners have fully painted hinges.
With this information, if I had any issues with my dealership, I could use this to pressure them into correcting this problem. Fortunately, no pressure was needed.
As you can see, validation was not my reason for the posting.

Fair enough, but I can't see, actually. Your 1st and 2nd paragraphs are completely about validation. What you wrote makes complete sense and is an understandable use of the forum, but it still was for validation. If my Bronco is light on hinge paint (I've not yet pulled the doors) and if it bothers me, I'll take the half hour and just mask and paint the hinges.

It's all good in the end.

To each their own my friend. That is the beauty of life, everyone has an opinion and that is why I value this forum.
