Ambient lighting

I’m seeing the same with my 2023 Big Bend. It seems to default back to the lowest setting (basically off) any time I turn off the vehicle.

I have a 4 dr. Badlands with LUX. Hey Ford are you watching or listening. You have an issue with your ambient lighting. What's the fix...please and thank you!

I checked today. It doesn't get turned off, the brightness gets set back to the lowest level.

Yep, exactly what's happening...ambient lighting setting is mysteriously moved to the lowest setting.

I would imagine it's an easy fix for Ford.

I turned my lighting off and on 3 times. Then set it to bright. Today it's still on bright. This is no joke, as DJ would say!!

Well another day and the lights are still on....no joke!!

LOL - yep! I think it's mid package and above... maybe high.

I have a 2022 Big Bend and having problems with the ambient lighting. I have to go to setting and turn it back on a lot! Is anyone having the same problem?

I had the same problem with mine for about a month or two, and I would just keep putting the slide dial “up” on the infotainment screen, but after about like I said a Month or two the problem stopped, and I haven’t had a problem since.
I don’t know if it was an update or not, but I can tell you I’ve checked every update that I have received and there is no mention of ambient lighting.
For whatever reason, mine is just fine now.

If I remember right, when it was happening to me, I was messing around with the interior lighting just behind the auxiliary switches, and adjusting the ambient lighting at the same time and that’s when “I believe” the problem stopped, and the ambient lighting stayed on ever since then.
Maybe even try setting the ambient lighting with the vehicle off or at least in just auxiliary mode, I know something worked for me, just can’t remember what!!!
Not saying this is what fixed it, but it just seems, ever since I did that I have not had the problem since.
Since I don’t know if I got the update or not, that’s why I can’t say for sure, that is what fixed it….

Well another day and they are still working. I think it's 5 in a row now. No Joke!!

Same issue as the rest but will try the 3 times off/on and see if that works.

Mine are still working also . I did receive an OTA update last week so I wonder if that it has been addressed already.

Yup....I've had this problem too since I brought it home in August. Then, all of a sudden, it's has stayed on for a week straight.

I leave the key fob in the bronco. I disabled the honk thing via Forscan so I can get in/out of it close/or open the door no matter where the key is it doesn't honk. I only take it out when I park to go shopping to where I have to lock it, like in town.

50 feet away? Where in the neighbors property or house? I can unlock the doors from at least 200 or 300 feet in a parking lot...maybe 400. Why should I have to play these games? Another dude on this forum said I needed to lock the truck. I appreciate both your suggestions but I travel for work a lot and Christine turns her lights on day or night even when I'm 1000 feet away inside a solid concrete hotel. Ford has issues with these trucks and is NOT INTERESTED in fixing them. Don't even get me started on the STINK 4 radio. This thing has so many bugs it should be called the Roach Motel 4. The crazy shit it does defies explanations. Has anyone from FoMoCo on this forum even tried to explain or fix these issues? MODERATOR: please forward to Ford, I would like to hear their excuse/reasoning/solution. @Ford Motor Company
