I think they meant to say that the order GUIDES are going to be made available.

Order banks do open on Aug 29th but for fleet orders only. Retail orders are still Sept 12th (for now).

August 29th, you will be able to look at how you can option your 2023 Bronco out. :)

When FordAuthority published that article yesterday, it had conflicting information that has since been resolved. I appreciate that site for bringing a variety of information to light, although I think they phoned that one in. Everybody makes mistakes, right? Nobody’s perfekt.

Yeah... Ford Authority is usually solid.

A lot of news sites use information published publicly by fleet management companies. Those companies get their information from something called the FDNB (Fleet Distribution News Bulletin), which gets released almost every Friday. The information is solid... but occasionally dates for Fleet orders and Stock/Retail orders are different. This year is a good example. As we all know, retail order banks for the Bronco closed in March with the exception of Raptor and Everglades orders. But the Fleet order banks remained open until about month ago. The reason why is pretty simple—fleets are not ordering many Broncos to begin with, and when they do order Broncos the vast majority are likely to be low-optioned Big Bend orders. A low-optioned Big Bend just happens to be the exact configuration that Ford can build plenty of at the moment.

I just know I only have to wait until 8-29-22 to see what I can pick for 2023. :p:D

Hey, @RagnarKon, do you know how long it will be before the Ford website updates their Build & Price utility? Obviously, it will be after September 12th, but how soon do you think? Nothing is better than virtually building your Bronco order online. Even with its inherent contradictions and inaccuracies, it's a way to kill some time.

I don’t know unfortunately, don't know anyone on that team at Ford..

In the past Build and Price was updated a few months after the order guide is released. But seems like Ford is making an attempt to update the Build and Price sooner rather than later. Last year they updated the Bronco B&P fairly quickly (even though it was extremely buggy), and this year the F-150 Lightning was updated the same day order banks opened.

So… maybe??… hopefully?? If they're going to keep pushing retail orders they need to synchronize their site updates with their information releases in my opinion. Take a page from Apple—they announce a new iPhone and their website is updated less than 5 minutes later with the new information.

Thanks, @RagnarKon. Any inside info is always greatly appreciated! I agree. Any changes to vehicles should be reflected on their website immediately. In a perfect world. Until it does, the analog version (order guide) will have to suffice.
